Milk Thistle Or Liv.52 - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

I can't find any Liv.52 so i went and bought 2 x 100tabs of 175mg milk thistle. I haven't opened them yet because i read somewhere milk thistle interferes with protein synthesis??milk thistle or liv.52 which is better?and also Paul said on cycle have 4 liv.52 tabs 4times a day, milk thistle is a different ingredient so any ideas on how many a day whilst on cycle?cheers guys.

I've never had any problems with protein synthesis when taking Milk Thistle.

Better to have it than not I think.

right i couldn't find the website that told me about milk thistle nitrate poisoning but i found this very informative website which lists side effects and they state for liver support of alcohol and drug use, use 200mg tablets 2-3times daily.. and we're talking about 1000mg daily over a long period of time. therefore also the side effects would become more common.. take a look http://www.umm.edu/altmed/ConsHerbs/MilkThistlech.html

i usually pay £9.99 for my tub of 100 liv.52.. are you sure they're real at 2.99?? not like the ebay ones that everyone is goin on about are they? because apparently the ebay ones dont work.

yeh from a guy i know who sells liv.52 he sells it at 9.99.. these 2.99 websites im not too sure about bcos its so cheap

I was actually posting the milk thistle up for the hang over thread and recalled seeing milk thistle in a thread title and so posted it here as well. It's always good to see thoroughness on a board, eh???

wot do u think tho peg? they say about 150-250mg milk thistle ED is good for you and too much can lead to side effects and poisoning.. and so can prolonged use.. and people who use it on cycles use 1000mg+ ED over the course of 12weeks if not more.. i think they're better off using liv.52 for the sake of there health there are no side effects to this.
