First time cycle diary

40mg dianabol per day Weeks 1-4
400mg Test enan per week. Weeks 1-10
Arimidex 0.5mg twice a week to start

Start PCT 3 weeks after last injection

Nolvadex 40mg week 1
Nolvadex 20mg week 2-3

After a couple of years research i have decided to take the plunge and begin my first cycle. Originally i had planned test only, but after an injury, a month holiday and then 3 months of my first year at uni (minimal training, plenty o drinking) my strength is a little down, so im taking dbol to get a bit of a strength boost.

Age 23
Current weight 90kg
BF 15% roughly

Bench 125 kg
Squat 160 kg
Deadlift 210 kg
(these are all personal bests as i said before im a bit down on strength)

My diet is sweet (I am studying nutrition at uni, although thats not saying much as it seems everyone else on my course is completely clueless or fat) and i am getting 4 meals and 3-4 shakes a day. Good carbs mostly from beans and pulses. I try to keep meat to a minimum as i have IBS, so things like lentils play a big role in my diet due to high protein content of them.

Will be training 4 times a week.

Back bi's
chest tri's
legs abs
shoulders calves

I have also regretably given myself a task of working up to where im running 5km 2-3 times a week. I am nowhere near there yet buts thats gonna be something I am working toward. Ive never been one for cardio but its about time i stopped making excuses and got on with it.

Any comments or feedback welcome. I hope to be updating this once or twice a week and hopefully give others an idea of what their first cycle would be like and help people to do their research and avoid rushing in like so many t*ts i know!

Re: First time cycle diary

Couple of questions is this your first ever cycle??? Or just your first injectable cycle.

Seems okay to me to start with only two things i would change

Lower the dbol dosage slightly to say 25mg a day
And arimidex i would take every 2days

Other lads may disagree but 25mg ample if ya first cycle.

don't depends on lentils for protien tho as it doesn't have all the essential aminos .. you can use it for good source of carb tho and you have got an advantage there as it has protien as well ..

Re: First time cycle diary

Why are you going to run PCT 3 weeks after your last jab? And i am sorry but 4 meals and 3-4 shakes a day is not what i would call a good diet!

Get some more research done. Especially read up on PCT and clomid.

Bit of a bold statement without knowing what the shakes contain. 4 Solid meals is a decent amount I'd say.

If you have IBS and meat aggravates it then it must be a problem. Could always just have some amino acid pills with each meal containing lentils.

4 meals and 3-4 shakes a day is not what I WOULD call a good diet! But i see your point, just think he would benefit a good deal more from solid meals rather than shakes. He would probably save a few quid too!

Re: First time cycle diary

If you've lost some strength recently, I would start training without the gear until you're back at the PBs you were at before. Muscle memory will see you back there quicker than you think with a good diet, and then start the cycle, you'll gain much better that way.

4 Good meals and three shakes sounds fine to me, as long as you're getting enough protein, and the right kinds of carbs in when you need them.

Good luck.

I still eat meat mostly chicken and oily fish so i am unlikely to be low on any amino acids, the lentils and other things like that is mainly for carbs, but does play a part in my protein intake. Lentils have all the essential amino acids bar methionine and cysteine, and there are plenty of other sources of that in my diet.

As is said before i have IBS and if i eat too often i get nauseous and throw up, whole food is no good if i cant keep it down! I also should elaborate i add fibre and fine oats to my shakes to slow down the absorption (except post workout shake) i also will have a handful of nuts with them to try and make up for the fact I am short on meals. As for the PCT question, my research lead me to believe that this would be a suitable time to start. If you think thats wrong please explain why.

Every bit of the most recent research i have read tells me that clomid is a weaker serm and has a slower, less pronounced effect on boosting testosterone production. Thats why I am not using clomid, i fully understand what clomid is and why people use it. I would like to use some HCG as long as i can get my hands on it, but because of the use of arimidex throughout the whole cycle my shutdown will be less severe (hopefully!).

I know I probably come across as having all the answers, even though I have no practical experience, but I assure you I have done thorough research.

I appreciate the feedback but rather than just saying do research on clomid and pct, if you guys could tell me from your own experiences what you found best, because this cycle has been formulated from a lot of research and doing more probably wont change things.

So why would you guys choose clomid over nolva for PCT?

When would you start your PCT for Test Enanthate?

It has been shown that more meals isn't necessarily better. In an ideal world then every meal might be solid but with day to day life that's a bit tricky and if a shake just contains some whey, oats, olive oil and a banana or something then it's not a bad substitute for food in my book. Completely dependant on the food in the meals and what makes up the shakes. Anyway don't want to go off topic!
