Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

Around here we know it as Biglexia, your growing and changing your shape but its never enough. For most people it never gets to the point where it takes over your life and you care about nothing else but ive seen guys in a few gyms around here that its happened to.

You have to look at it from a non-trainers point of view, when they see the dedication/money it takes to eat well constantly and the choice you make to take steroids (which have a HUGE stigma attached to them) it may look like you have an obsession or eating disorder. But generally the people who comment dont see bodybuilding as a sport.

Someone said to me the other day its a "**** sport, your never happy", but the reality is no one is ever finished, i would not say no one is ever happy, everytime i look at myself pumped after a good back/shoulder day, Im very ****ing happy . Given the choice all of us want to get bigger and stronger and keep packing on the muscle. Why wouldnt you.

Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

Ok with regards to her exact point she asked "Giving steroid advise to people is like giving diet advise to an anorexic" NO!!

You are constructively helping people who would otherwise be on their own and doing it dangerously, I see UK-M as an educational website promoting SAFE USE and doing AAS with knowledge and respect for the risks. A Pro anorexia web site encourages risk and damages. Its more like you joining an anorexic web site and advising girls how to eat properly thus helping them beat anorexia.

Body builder's spend a lot of time researching and trying things to improve and make it more healthy - not the other way around.

Your GF is just doing the normal 'General public' thing of all steriod users abuse. This unfortunately is not her fault but the media and ar5eholes who abuses gear tainting her view.

I hope she lets you back in the bed soon mate, that sofa cant be too comfy lol

Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

Haha couch was ok, shes been with me years, she knows what goes on, hates it, yet accepts it.

She is a total barbie doll, so youd expect her to be with a roider haha but she isnt too keen.

I let her look at the responses,, she takes some of them on board, she loves greek godess respons- lol/ but she says the responses clarify what she meant. all jumped into defence mode, backing up steroid use etc etc, which she claimed is her original argument. exactly as is the case on anorexia website.

I cant argue with her about it anymore, or she be going in my blender with a kilo of whey and coming in handy for my morning shake!!

My bird just thinks it's all a bit homo erotic.

Mind you, she'd go up the fvcking wall if she knew i'd done gear. I only get away with the recreational drugs coz i've been doing them since before i met her and told her she'd just have to put up with it.

Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

No shes just a tit- ha.

She has been with me for ages, she knows exactly what i go through, and what it takes apart from steroids, her argument is that steroid users do not accept any form of critisism on the subject, always find reasons to defend it etc,

She sounds like an intelligent girlie so tell her to get reading & researching before making judgements - when she can back it up then she can have a look at that analogy once more.

She hears about steroid abuse not steroid use so most probably is unaware that BBers go to great pains to look after their health.

Everybody wants to be GOOD, but not many are prepared to make the sacrifices it takes to be GREAT! You must develop a complete disregard for where your abilities end.

She watched the programme about the pro anorexia sites and she says they all do the same, jump to the defence and make excuses for why anorexia is ok, and why the media and programmes slating anorexia are all bullsht!!

She said you always have an argument ready to counter negative comments on steroids/ steroid deaths/bad media etc etc.

She sees this as promoting steroids- Whats your thoughts- apart from your missus is a tit- I KNOW.
Reverse this and you have a carbon copy of my husband......he is such a tw*t

Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

AHHHHHHH... NO

Anorexia... you deprive your bodies of nutrients and decompose your self and eventually your thought process.

Anabolics can be used for TRT to live a healthier life...

Anabolics in recreational users are properly used as a platuae breaker. You still need to proper nutrition and a HEALTHY life style..... And properly done will do more benefit than harm

Anabolics can heal trauma victims/Aids victims...

so yea... tell your girlfriend to change her thought process, maybe her mind can pass the ape-like state, and not argue for the sake of just ****ing you off

I suppose it could all boil down to the question of whether you should have to justify yourself or your actions to anyone......
