She watched the programme about the pro anorexia sites and she says they all do the same, jump to the defence and make excuses for why anorexia is ok, and why the media and programmes slating anorexia are all bullsht!!

She said you always have an argument ready to counter negative comments on steroids/ steroid deaths/bad media etc etc.

She sees this as promoting steroids- Whats your thoughts- apart from your missus is a tit- I KNOW.
Tell her shes deluded lol.
M8 your physique (that you in your avi yeah?) is amense, that's the sort of physique that i'd eventually hope to aspire to in many years to come.

Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

I wouldn't say dog sh1t, I would say all bodybuilders suffer from some type of body dismorphia.

You can look in the mirror one day and feel great, the next day you look and feel like crap. Not everyone is going to suffer to the same degree.

In extreme cases you can have guys that are advanced bodybuilders with great physiques who still fell as bad as when they first started working out.

Another type are people who don't train legs, in their own eyes they look great but to everyone else they look ridiculous.

It's a mental health issue.

I disagree.

I think accepting looking like a fat sackof sh1t is more of a mental health as well as physical health issue

OK, maybe too much of a harsh statement from me. However, does that mean that anything we do that we love or have a passion for is given useless names...so someone who has money, yet wants some more, does that mean you they suffer something like richorexia?

getting back on topic, anorexia is something that is life threatening but i dont see see how getting big can kill you unless you are obese.....

the word bigorexia shares the same love from me as much as political correctness.

Re: Steroid/anorexia Debate!!

Maybe the issue is not with the supposed content of the site compared to those of anorexia , in reality she may want you to come off UK Muscle and pay her some attention.......just a thought......
