Would you recommend Accutane for my 17 year old son, he's suffered from mild acne for
about 3 or 4 years
I've read harsh sides, toxic etc??

Where do you get it from, is it *cough*presciption only
Mild? No mate not worth it IMO.. either wait it out or get some Benz Perox cream, or possibily a combi or te cream and a mild antibiotic?

Harshish sides 0 differ from person to person, as mentioned abov i been on for 4+ months and sometimes i struggle with them but they are not unbareable.

Prescription only from Hospital only, not supplied be pharmacies. Can be sourced online, lots of pennies

my mum was worried about accutane so i just spared her the bother and never told her. i was on antibiotics before that and she used to blame my bad moods on them, antibiotics ffs? look mothers worry, that's what they're good at. if your old enough to get it without your mums consent just tell her they gave you a less harmful drug. its your body, your choices and don't cause your mother unnecessary stress

I would worry that you're starting gear a little early if you have to run things by your mum. Just don't tell her.

Re: someone put my mums mind at rest pls

right lads im getting accutane from a dermotologist after going to the docs, not from a source, i am on gear but it has nothing to do gear ive had it since i was about 14/15 and have been on antibiotics christ knows how many times and nothing has worked but when i went docs last week there was a new doc and he said he would refer me. and she would rather i didnt do gear but respects its my choice she is just worried that all these thing combined will lead me to probs, hope this clears things up a bit(prob not tho cause im confused now)

Just tell your mum you have come off everything then. But still take it anyway. It's your job to keep your mum happy, even if it means fibbing about stuff she doesn't need to know about.

Just IMO.

For eatngrow's mother, your son could die.

Just kidding. Maybe.
