clen doseage

Hows tricks people

just a question about clen i was told to take the full doseage at once (all severn tabs at once ) rather than equalise the doseage throughout the day eg 2 in the morning 3 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening.
I got up to taking four at once and felt like i was gonna collapse so i started equalising them. does it make a difference? i ask because taking clen alone i didnt see any weight loss or fat loss at all after 4 weeks so i stopped.
All coments would be greatly appreciated.

I split it into 2 doses myself.

The max I have taken is 120mcg in a day, which is 6 tabs. 3 in the morning, 3 early afternoon. I wouldn't take more than 3 tabs in one go. Split them up!
If you didn't notice any fat loss, it probably means your diet was wrong.

Definitley agree with this, put your emphasis into your diet not drugs.

When I use clen I taper up by 20mcg every 3 days from 40mcg until I am on around 140mcg, I split the dose up to avoid sides, if I take more than 1 I will get a nasty headache.

IMO i don't see the point of Clen/ECA usage anymore.

If u can lose 2lbs a week with a good diet (say for example... emm... ChefX's diatia) why do u need to take cutting supplements?

You don't want to be losing more than 2lbs a week and u can do this by revising ur diet

Because clen is anti-catabolic. Taking in anything anti-catabolic while dieting is an extremely good idea.

true - but to how much of a degree is it anit-catabolic? Glutamine curbs catabolism too without sides.

IMO when cutting u should be able, with the right diet and training, gain strength - if ur gaining strength cutting such as i am now - u can't really be losing muscle IMO

I'm not sure that glutamine really is hugely catabolic, since most of it gets trashed by the liver when taking it anyway. Maybe if there was an injectable version you'd get some good benefits! Clen however is definitely proven to be anti-catabolic. Lots of people use it in PCT also for it's anti-catabolic properties even when not cutting.

I 100% agree with you that diet is key of course. For me drugs are the icing on the cake... but I do like the taste of the icing and it does have it's benefits

I also agree that you should be gaining strength when cutting. However, that's not necessarily an indicator that you're keeping lean mass - as olympic lifters are regularly reducing their bodymass (fat AND muscle) to get down to a competing weight while still getting stronger (so in effect they're getting stronger but catabolising). A better indicator that you're keeping lean mass would be bodyfat percentage. And of course with the right cutting diet you might even be able to GAIN lean mass.

did like that!

I do think glutamine is almost a necessity when cutting as do i also think creatine is (being overlapped with the bulk before), injecting it bit too hardcore for me

was thinking about that, i don't know too much about this so i can't really come up with a valid hypothesis, however i'll have a little go -

Powerlifters (inc. Olympic weightlifters) have a high percentage of Type II fibres (fast twitch fibres) compared to many bodybuilders who have a higher percentage of type I fibres (slow twitch fibres).
(MD March 2005, pg 282)

Perhaps its easier to lose Type I fibres and keep the strength as they do due to their training regime (often using weights more than 90% of their 1rm) using mainly type II fibres?

Bodybuilders normally train around 80% of their 1rm using a greater amount of Type I fibres keeping them fibres going and less catabolism of these fibres

And so if our strength goes up IMO there is less chance of us losing muscle mass and so....

I do agree that bf% is the best way - along with the mirror but bf% with different techniques used to measure it and the varibilty in the data got from these techniques makes it really quite hard to measure
