Newbie: help Needed

Ok I have tried these before and i'm looking to start, nothing else seems to work for me. I'm 20 and only 9 stone. Help needed bigtime. I just want a nice shape and not look so weak and pathetic. What can you recommend

Cheers

Training, and eating properly, go visit the nutritrian forum and training forum, and learn from there.

You cant just go on steroids and get muscles you know, this is a completely misconception which sterotypes us and gives us a bad namd,e just like saying you bollocks will drop off.

Roids does not equal muscle in a bottle. You have to train twice as hard, eat twice as much and sleep the same

Post what your eating now and what sort of training program your following then we might be able to help, also how long have you been training for.

I've been training on and off for easily two year minus the odd month or two. I can't eat good food thats just me, i live on take aways and fast food. I also eat allot of junk food. I've tried protein shakes to get some proper calories but they didnt seem to do much. Is there any supplements that is very good for weight gain then, the musle will come with the weight I suppose as I train 3-5 times a week.

Nothing like pointing out the obvious.
I would be eating 6 meals. All six meals take in a good protein, a good carb and a good fat.
You are more than likely going to have to do some preparing of food mate.

Quick fix, and I want to be massive yesterday without having to work come to mind....

If I am wrong then feel free to correct me, but I dont think this guy is willing to help himself so how is it possible for anyone else to help him?

olee1kenobi noone is going to be able to give you any better advice than eat good food and train very hard. There is no quick fix to getting the body you are after, and if you dont get that out of your mind then I am afraid you are likely to stay the same all your life.

Noone is saying you have to give up takeaway food completely if you dont want to, but you must make a massive effort to atleast make 5 of your 6 meals for that day very good if your gonna have a bad one in the evening from the takeaway you like to eat...

Steroids are just a little extra boost for when you have come to a plateau from years of hard consistent training and more importantly eating. I trained for a year with no eating regiem and put on about 8lbs. When I started eating chicken, steak, tuna and rice 4 times/day with a protein shake or two thrown in for good measure I put on 2st in the next year and 1st the year after........ Then I started on a steroid cycle.
My take on the importance of each element of bodybuilding is that training is about 30%, eating is 65% and the roids are only 5% of the equation.
