Re: steroids for cardio

your probably going to need something more for power and also recover i would have thought then mate rather than cardio as the only real thing that helps with cardio IMPO is probably a stimulant such as eph or caffeine etc.

Re: steroids for cardio

The only thing that helps with cardio is..... more cardio, the fittest people I have ever met were blokes i served with in the Para's, they could run circles round anyone and they took absolutely no drugs.... except lots of alcohol! My point is you don't need drugs to improve cardio you just need a structured training plan and to get the miles under your belt.

If you participate in this sport, why are you looking at taking steroids? It would make you a cheat would it not? I believe that if you play sport you should stay away from anything against the rules of that sport

Next time you settle down int front of the TV on a Sunday and watch the 100m final, the guy who wins will have taken a performance enhancing drug at some point in his career.

Do a little reading around the topic and you'll be suprised that the reailty is that drugs are rife in all sports especially at elite level.

Re: steroids for cardio

Anything that keeps water down and strength up is ideal

anavar, NPP, tren, EQ are all possibilities if you are looking for strength

cardio based sports may include EPO although i dont think that applicable here, GH may help

some of the shorter ester tests may benefit with the above

Are you in or out of season?

Sprinter is on a distinguished road
Re: steroids for cardio

Just to mention this. I know of athletes who use clenbuterol to aid in cardio. Bodybuilders use it to help with fat loss. If you check clenbuterol is for asthma and is desighed to help with breathing by dilating your air waves (Trachea). So a person who is not asthmatic will still have the benefits and should help with your cardio as you will be able to take in more oxygen, which means you can work harder than you could without the clenbuterol.

I'm not sure what dose they used but it was not as high as you would for fat burning. Also they took there dose between 2-3 hours before they started their cardio. Again this is just a suggestion as I know athletes who use clenbuterol in this manner. I have not done this so can't vouch for it but makes sense since it is a bronchial medicine. Other than that I only of EPO or HGH which helps with cardio. Hope this helps.

My father would back that, he was in the paras. And he would often say similar things. Hehe, made me smile.

I am not sure about MMA (in any sense at all), but don't most sports now make use of strict drug testing?

Re: steroids for cardio

DO YOU COMPETE? If so are you tested... i.e if your on a cage rage main card you will be... so you need to bear that in mind..as for fitness being able to 'run like a para' will be of little use...a totally different energy system .... not too many Kenyan or Ethiopian MMA stars... you need cardio for recovery but explosive anaerobic capacity for the fighting .... roadwork is really very old school once a week would be sufficient..better off doing sprints, sparring etc ..... drug wise - again what stage of training are you in... are you concerned with weight at the moment etc etc..lots of variables here
