![]() | Worried about pain Hi guys. I am now 5 days past last shot in left glute. Have administered plenty in the past. Some painless, most sore for a day or 2. Nothing I have aver worried about. This has caught me by surprise. Day 2 pain started to get worse. 5 days later and still very painful. Not intolerable but I am not moving at normal speed if you get my drift. My only concern is infection. If I have just pinned myself into a vein or nerve I will suffer the consequencies without further ado, but how soon will it be after injection to see if I have an infection. There is no redness, no heat but the muscle does feel quite hard. Your thoughts please. Badly bruised or get some Anti B's. Thanks |

![]() | Re: Worried about pain BD Test Cyp. It was the last Mil out of 10. All previous shots fine. Would the infection take long to rear its ugly head if it was that.. I just cant understand why pain is worse on day 5 compared to day 2. Time will tell I guess. |

![]() | Re: Worried about pain yeah suffered from this once or twice myself. last one i had i got just before i competed and swole up 4 days after jab. best thing you can do is ice it. reduces swelling and helps take pain away for a bit at least |

Jabbing in your glute is difficult to do, you're reaching round, can't see totally, wobbling the pin inside yourself which does cause after pains and bruising. Much better to jab where you can control it more, such as outer quads, delts etc.... I am running BD cyp now, and have used it many times yet have never had a problem with it in itself.... If not redness etc, then not an infection. Also, make sure you massage jab site after to disperse the oil. This is a big cause of a lot of "infections" when people jab too close to the skin, an oil bubble forms and if not diepersed then can become infected, sterile gear or not... |

erm, if it was dirty gear then you'd have had an infection, with redness, sore to touch, swelling, heat etc, which he stated he hasn't. I love the way people come out with "dirty gear" accusations when 99% of the time it's poor inj technique that is the problem.......look closer to home next time mate... | |

![]() | Re: Worried about pain I think Rob is right. Probably my own doing. Today is no better but no worse. I guess thats good news. Still no redness or heat. But very tender to touch still. I follow a very strict hygeine protocol ie swab vial tops, use 2 needles, swab injection site before and after. i also give site a massage. But I can sometimes be a bit wobbly when injecting that side. Cheers all |
