Hello All,

Now i know possessing prescription meds is not illegal in England. I have heard however that improting them could land you in a whole load of trouble proving whats for personal use etc.

Is this correct and if so would buying online be classed as importing. Obviously this is a purely educational question.

Your not quite right there mate as your statement is a bit vague. Theres numerous prescription drugs which are illegal to possess in the UK without the prescription.
Also some meds that are legal in other countrys are still illegal here whether for personal use or not.
Alot depends on what class they are, ie A, B or C, although Class A would be illegal world wide

no its not illegal to import gear here as long as its legal here as each country is bound by its own laws, customs cannot take them off you unless its a quantity classed as commercial use or your importin something that is really outlawed here such as class A

dont mean to confuse you but by what andy says it would therefore be legal (or ok) to import marajana (sp). I would research this a little more bulk if I were you.

i believe weeds still illegal to posess without perscription here though, even though its class C based, steroids arent.

however, im sure its still illegal to buy them without a perscription but not possess them, yes its a dumb ass law i know, same as it use to be legal to own backup copies of software and stuff but its illegal to sell those backup copies regardless if you have the original or not

Class C drugs/meds are still illegal here, ie CANNABIS, its just catergorised differently for prosecution purposes. Basically can be possesses in private dwelling for own use and if theres no juvenilles present. Have it in public and your done still.
Steroids although class C here can be possessed for own use only, and i beleive fine aslong as not underground products, however that would be a nightmare to prove i imagine. To bring them into this country they have to come from a country where it is legal to possess still, ie a scrip isn't required to possess them there as if it was you have more than likely purchased them illegally so you couldn't then bring them in as they would then be illegal.

The reason i ask is where i have purchased from is a website. I then place order and these products then get sent from other countries hence asking about the import thing.

I dont get why gear is as taboo over here as it is in the US. I mean obviously its not something you want to tell the world about, but theres guys at my gym on gear who will NEVER admit it. Everyone knows they use, its legal for them to use so why not admit?

Just to clarify then, this what the thames valley website says.
anabolic steroids are prescription only medicines. It is not illegal to possess them for your own use, or to import them for your own use, but it is illegal to supply them without a licence, or to import them for supply to somebody else: Class C penalties apply.
