![]() | Drinking on gear: Could I get some advice please, and yes your first thoughts are probably stupid ****. I am on decca yellow caps and sust, 1 of each a week...problem is I drink...... normally the equiv of 4 pints a day more or less, yes I know what you are thinking....I am cutting down now and have done this only a couple of times in the last week, old habits etc. Anyway could somebody please tell me what this drinking is taking away from the gains I should be seeing. This is a serious question I just want an honest answer. This is mind, would it be ok to drink occasionally or just go cold turkey and focus on my goals. I do have a reasonable physique with good lifts. By the way it all started working on cruise ships and partying every night with the crew, it is something I have done for years and am now trying to leave behind but have loads of trouble sleeping....any advice on this also. Just want to know the facts...I am sure there are other people out there like me, any advice would be helpful, thanking you in advance. ![]() |

![]() | Re: Drinking on gear: My age is 37 I am 5ft 8inch and weigh 13st 9lb, last time my body fat was measured it was around 15%, but truly I prefer to use the mirror as a progress tool. I am not considering cutting for another year or so but I am finding it hard to gain, this is one reason I am trying to look for answers I know the alcohol needs to go and obviously I need to eat more, also as Jw007 says it is not a mega amount of aas I am on as this is prob my 10th cycle in around 3 years, should I up my aas or is this sufficient with clean living, I was thinking to go to every 5 days to be honest. |

![]() | Re: Drinking on gear: I wake at 3pm, I train at 7pm I drink after work at 6am before bed, I work nights and as my job is stressful I sit and have a few beers before i go to sleep around 8am. Yes my diet is not great in terms of amounts but it is good food that I eat. I thank you for your advice but what is your waste of time is my life. I admit that I am not Peter Perfect, I was really wanting some hard facts about how and why drinking combats aas effectiveness. I have been training the same way on and off since 1986, I just want some pointers but I know I will never step on stage. I hope this helps you to see where I am with my training as I have said under my name "sometimes dedicated trainer", I think your goals fas surpass mine. But thanks for taking your time to reply. |

This is not correct imo. Moderate drinking once a week/weekends is fine imo its hasnt hindered most of the big guys i know they all like a night out. Everything in moderation is what i say and a few pints doesnt hurt.

T levels are lowered nutrients absorption is inhibited protein synthesis is reduced empty calories increase estrogen levels dehyrdration Stick that with AAS and whilst its not a 'sin' its far from ideal As for the original poster 28 pints a week, fcuk the issues with gear, thats a problem in itself, but your call, orals are obviously more of an issue with alcohol but realisitically you have having around 7000 calories of additional crap per week
