![]() | hello everyone i have a little problem i have been doing body building for a year now, (not on steroids). i stop to let my body rest for a couple of weeks and i started get chest pains not my heart but from my rib cage this has stop me from going back to body buliding again. when i went to do the chest press agian my chest really hurt afterwards and not i can crack my chest like people crack there fingers which this eases the pain a little bit i need to know what to do as my doctor does not know what it is:confused: Last edited by michaeloxley; 06-09-2004 at 08:48 PM. |

![]() | it has been last christmas when i stop and then started again 2 weeks after but i cant do it as it hurts after my workout. i crack my chest to ease the pain it has stop a little but i dont want to start it again and it hurts like it did last time |

| UK-Muscle Male Animal | That is not good mate. I would get a second opinion. Maybe you cracking your chest is stopping it from healing. If something is cracked and you keep moving that area it might not get a chance to heal because of the constant movement. Try not cracking it and see if it gets better. I would get some xrays and maybe even an mri. I have cracked ribs in the past and those take a long time to heal. About 2 months. Not 9. |
