fooking shin splints.

finished a course of dbol 2 weeks ago, about 3 weeks into cycle my shin splints were just ridiculous, i understand after doing a bit of reading that this isn't uncommon. has any one else had this and if so, how long after the cycle did it take to subside?

Re: fooking shin splints.

Hmmmmm
For me it took about three to four weeks after i finished dbol to be back to normal again...

Running/jogging and dbol definately do not mix, as i learned to my cost many years ago when i got up at 5am and went for a run into the third week of a cycle - my tibias pumped up so bad i couldn't walk and had to flag down a taxi to take me home...

Drinking plenty of water and massage helps enormously

Re: fooking shin splints.

I am told taurine can help a great deal with shin splints and back pumps. Not my knowledge though so may be worth a read

Re: fooking shin splints.

taurine, potassium and more water will help but wont rid you of them.. when i run good dose of npp i cant even walk the dog a half mile before i get crippling back pumps and shin splints.. its worth it though .. i love drop of npp

Re: fooking shin splints.

I get shin splints and painfull lower back pumps on dbol too.
Increase your water intake and cut as much salt out of your diet as possible. This helped me out in the past.

Re: fooking shin splints.

Guys just to use the correct term here what you experience is called compartment syndrome not shin splints. Just incase you sought treatment for it etc.

Compartment syndrome is that burning swelling sensation causing the tib anterior to swell and even be hard to touch. It's common in people wearing the wrong shoes for running even in people who dont take gear. It's just the muscle filling with blood supply and the stretching of fascia causing pain.

Obviously gear that causes the greates pump will bring on the worst compartment syndrome. It should subside after your cycle if diet is clean.

Shin splints refers to a few different occurances, mainly resulting in an overuse type injury caused by compressive forces on the tibia and it's fascia bringing inflammation, fascitis and the sensation of tooth ache in the shin.
