Steroids and stretch marks

Hi there, I just finished my first cycle today - a small 4 week cycle of dianabol for 4 weeks (to be followed by a 3 week course of nolva). I however noticed that along with the size I have put on, I have accumulated some nice big stretch marks.

Am I right in assuming that they are there because of my size, and not because I put the size on rapidly? I don't think I can let them get much worse, or I'm going to look like i've had multiple skin grafts from my shoulders.

thanks!

Re: Steroids and stretch marks

I very much doubt a 4 week cycle of anything apart from chips is going to cause super huge gains and stretch marks mate.
Welcome to the site by the way mate.
What size are you exactly and body fat %

Re: Steroids and stretch marks

Hi Robsta. I'm not exactly massive - I'm 74kg @ about 11% bf and 6 foot tall. I have quite a narrow frame, but broad shoulders, and the new stretchmarks are from my lats going up to the top of my shoulders. My skin is just plain rubbish - it seems to scar very easily.

Re: Steroids and stretch marks

There are some Silicone plasters that you can buy from Boots, they are washable and reusable and they reduce the redness in scar tissue, even old raised scars flatten out and lose thier colour. My wire used them on her boob job scar's, it worked a treat.

So if you really do make such big gains like you said, i would go with Lost Soul and use Coco Butter in the future before they appear. But till then, give the silicone plasters a try ;-)

They are because you have put size on quickly, a lot of people will get this from either training naturally at the beginning or when taking something like d'bol that will swell you up. Don't worry mate, most people have them and they mainly disappear or reduce in size. You can get stretch mark creams (like for pregnant women) - Palmers stretch march coco butter is good value for money.

Re: Steroids and stretch marks

Just oil your skin or use vaseline after you bath or shower. Your skin will be more soft and stretchable, it will also help fade them away after time. I use palmers coco butter in the tub.

They do get lighter though. They start off red then slowly fade.

It take years to fade, but you can get them looking better.
