training on steroids

Hope I can have this thread in this section?

Basically I train as a powerlifter, train the squat/deadlift and bench press heavy every week with accessories on a separate day, do you think if taking steroids I should keep it the same? I know powerlifters on steroids following the same routine (because I train with them sometimes) but any need to do more reps, sets? etc, or just keep it the same.

Re: training on steroids

Realistically its a case of nailing training and allowing steroids to follow, not the other way round

steroids will aid strength
steroids will aid recovery

At the end of the day strength training is low rep work and you should have it planned ahead
Sorry to sound harsh but it is a natural progression to be aware of the role of gear and what it does exactly

Train for strength as you always would do and let steroids assist you. If it works when you're a natty, then it should continue to work with gear - keep the protein up and you'll see good results fast.

Re: training on steroids

Cool thanks guys, I havent started yet, was planning to next month, just been researching and getting advice for the last few months, sorting training, diet and rest also. I like to do things properly, and know whats happening with what I do.

Cool I will keep training the same, just train hard and let the steroids assist.
