![]() | calcium and steroids Does anyone else out there supplement their calcium intake when on gear? I read in Franco Columbos book about nutrition that steroids make the muscles require more calcium to contract properly and that this can make your body extract calcium from your bones in order to feed your muscles, making your bones weaker. The way of getting around this being to drastically increase your calcium intake while on AAS. I did this once but have neglected to this time. I am feeling a lot of weakness around my wrists, forearms and shoulders and wondered if this might be the case. One of the reasons i wanted to use deca this time round was because it supposedly gave you pain free workouts and helped lubricate or buidl up your joints and tendons. Got to say i havnt noticed any effect of this nature. |

I have no documented proof but a nutrition expert I know told me that by increasing your protein intake, your body will use more calcium than usual. He said it's very important to supplement your calcium intake. Predator |
