Hi all

Anybody know if you can pick up cheaper gear in tunisia like you can in turkey etc? Going there later this year and would like to pick some bits up if poss.

Call the specific embassy in London for specific details (as in any case of buying gear abroad). Record the time and name of who you spoke to.

Next call the National Advice service at customs & excise and enquire as to the current advised limit on class C S4 meds for personal use; record the time and who you spoke to.

Whatever is available OTC, you have £135 of personal allowance of the specific CC S4 meds to bring back (i.e. over-the-counter sched 4 meds) - ancillaries don't count unless caught by the scheduling.

An intelligent, businesslike, charismatic man might offer an additional payment to a licensed pharmacist in return for a second receipt demonstrating the total purchase to add up to a local equivalent of £135 regardless of the actual cash transaction that took place, although this would be illegal and ill-advised.

and if some one we say bring a few things for personal use and THEY thing its a BIT more for personal use .. what happens exactly?? you get charged? or they take your things away?? or ...
