![]() | Dbol Cycle Report I have completed a 6 week Dbol cycle, and I have written a report documenting what I did and found from the cycle. Please feel free to comment and ask me questions about it. A lot of the influence from this cycle has come from this board. ![]() 6 Week Dbol Cycle Research In January last year (2007) I decided that I wanted to do a cycle involving an anabolic steroid to gain more muscle mass and test see how my body would react. I began researching what I should take and what would be effective for a first time user. I was initially scared of possibly side effects and read up about PCT and ways to combat gyno and shutdown. By August I had read enough literature, mainly posts and articles from this board, along with the excellent Anabolics 2006 by William Llewellyn to narrow down the range of anabolic steroids available, in my opinion, to two possible options. The first option was a 10 week cycle of Testosterone Enanthate of 250mg a week with a 4 week PCT using Chlomid or Nolva. The second option was a cycle of Dianobol with a PCT using Chlomid or Nolva. Unfortunately, upon contacting my source it became clear that I could not get hold of test, chlomid of nolva, but I could get Dbol. This worried me slightly as I therefore had no means to combat the onset of gyno or to compile a good PCT. I decided to do further research, this time focussing on alternative forms of PCT, particularly anti-estrogen products available over the counter. I chose to use Inhibit-E based on good product reviews from independent sources. Having read a lot of material on this board, and particularly the topics by Samurai69 and 13StoneTarget about their 14/14 cycles I included both Trib and Creatine in the PCT. I also chose to do a 6 week cycle rather than a 14 on, 14 off cycle to simply see what the effects of the dbol would be towards the end of the 6 weeks. I was to take 20mg of Dbol a day with Milk Thistle and Multi-Vitamin tablets. In September I had all the gear together to start the cycle. I am 5"7 and I weighed 76kg. Here is a breakdown of the food I ate and the training method that I used. Diet From the information that I had read, various people said to eat like a horse whilst on a cycle to get the most out of the growth that you can get. An average days meal for me was as follows: Meal 1 (Breakfast): Oats, 2 scoops of whey and water blended to make a smoothie. (I can't stomach much food first thing) Train Post workout shake: 2 scoops of whey Meal 2: Chicken, veg and pasta Meal 3: Tuna jacket potato, and fruit Meal 4: Chicken, veg and pasta Meal 5: Either Fish or Red Meat with veg Meal 6: Cottage Cheese and Rice Cakes The meals varied and I kept my diet fairly strict but would have a take away once every two weeks. Training I wanted to do a training program based around compound exercises as this is what I tend to benefit from the most as I am a hard gainer. I used 5x5 training for all exercises, gradually increasing the weight performed during each set. I trained 4 days a week and each day was either a push or a pull day: Monday: Push Tuesday: Pull Wednesday: Rest Thursday: Push Friday: Pull Saturday: Rest Sunday: Rest Here is what I performed on each day Push Day: Legs: Squats Chest: Bench Press Shoulders: Standing Millitary Press Tris: Dips Calves: Standing toe raises Pull Day: Back: Upright rows Back + Legs: Deadlifts Biceps: Barbell Curls + Preacher Curls Abs: Crunches Cardio It is important to keep your heart healthy when increasing muscle mass rapidly so I went for 30 minute runs on 2 of my rest days. I also play 11 aside football on a saturday morning, and 5 aside on a thursday night, so I do a fair bit of running round in that too. The Outcome I didn't keep a log of what I was doing throughout the course of the cycle, something I now regret. I started the cycle and after only a week of taking 20mg of Dbol a day I noticed a large increase in strength, and aggresion, both within the gym and outside of it. My libido also increased dramatically and I felt horny all the time! Sometimes sparked by the least little thing! My size and weight increased noticibly. The area that I always find it hard to add mass to are my front deltoids but they quickly became more defined and larger. Upon completion of the 6 week cycle of 20mg a day I didn't notice any sides apart from the aggresion and no sign of shutdown. My weight had increased from 76kg to 81.5kg and my strength had also increased noticibly with my bench increasing from 75kg @ 5 reps to 90kg @ 5 reps. The thing that now worried me was maintaining what I had put on. I had read report of people losing everything that they had gained and this scared me especially as I am was very happy with the work I had put in. As I mentioned earlier, I began my PCT by taking 5g of Creatine a day, with Reflex Bulgarian Trib and Inhibit-E both at the stated doses. After a week off the dbol I noticed a decrease in libido, but no loss of strength although a little of the aggression had subsided. After 4 weeks I had completed my PCT and stopped taking the creatine, trib and inhibit-e. Right now as I am typing this I am 80kg, 4kg heavier than when I first started and stronger too. I am happy with how this cycle has gone and I believe that this is a good cycle for a first time user to do if they want to experience the effects of anabolid steroid. Hindsight I know that it was stupid of me to go ahead and do a dbol cycle without the necessary meds on hand in case I started to develop signs of Gyno and this is something that I would look to avoid in future. I would also do the same dosage of 20mg ed of dbol again, but go no higher without Chlmoid or Nolva on hand. |

Interesting post! Apart from your own hindsight admissions,the diet,training and research is admirable and it looks as if it has worked well for you. One diet question,why no carbs in your Pwo shake? I'm sure this would have been very beneficial to you. |

Agree with para more carbs and fats in the diet may have worked better, but you seem to have had a good expeirience of it anyway, the only thing i would say is some of the weight you could now be holding may be due to the creatine as it is a cell volumizer, most people find they gain weight on this alone, was this the reason for including it in your pct? good post u2mr2 Last edited by genesis; 05-01-2008 at 03:33 PM. |

:bump: this is a form of gear that i am seriously looking to using for my first cycle in about 6-12 months, i know its a while away yet but i am just doing all the research and reading studies where people have used and got good gains from it!

Good to see someone making good gains and at the same time being responsible and researching what they are doing. A first cycle will always yield good results, the thing is, the first cycle is golden...the body is primed and ready to grow like never before with the introduction of AAS, that being said, Id urge ppl to consider using an injectable, the results Id wager from experience are far more and also IMO far less dangerous than taking a 17a oral. I cannot say ppl are not having good results with orals only, but injectables are the way to go, if your man enough to make the decision to cycle then your man enough to inject yourself once or twice a week. All my own personal opinion of course, everyone will ultimatley choose their own direction, all my opinions are formed from my own perosnal use and experience though. |

i know what u mean five-0 im stuck in the middle of things now regarding my 1st cycle. i wanted to run test e, but im having financial problems so might have to go with the tbol for now or until im back on my feet which may not be till summer :(

I like some Test and a dbol kickstart for a 1st cycle, I don't think thats overboard at all IMO ![]() I view Dbol more of a supplement helping to give some quick strength gains and water weight for the joints, it is a truly good AAS, its been around forever and its because it really does do a good job. A great bulking compound, most won't lose what they gain from it either contrary to what some ppl say. | |

Thats a good post u2mr2 i have done an injectable cycle but am going to be doing a dbol only cycle at the same amount as you run in a few days so it will be interesting to see how it goes hopefully it will finish similar to your results as i have read many people on diff sites saying you lose all your gains so you done well to keep most of yours.
