where can i get acetic acid from?
for igf use??

and... can bac water be used solely with 1mg of igf and kept in fridge for a month?

Re: where can i get acetic acid from?
you can get it in some chemists although the ones round here stopped doing it because all the dealers were using it to cut the charlie down.

i used to get it from work in 5 litre tubs as a powder but at a pinch, then asda, tesco and waitrose will do it under the brand name 'sarsons'. get the spirit version rather than the brown malted one though....

The AA you need for IGF is 0.6% Acetic Acid.

You can make it by combining 12ml Distilled White Vinegar with 88ml Distilled Water, but this needs to be sterilised before Inj.

ahh right....

used it at heinz as a food additive and as a pipe cleaner..... used to bring catering tubs home filled with the stuff to descale the kettle, bog and washing machine.....

used to get citric acid powder and sodium hypochlorate (15%) liquid too.. cleanest khazi in watford... didn't dare tell the council though, they would have done me for pollution of the waste water supply...

hi mate,

jsut a quick question hope you dont mind.
i need to recon my igf with white vinegar, noticed the ones in the supermarket say distilled malt vinegar, for example sarsons, though they appear clear and not brown, would that be the right one.

That sounds like the right one, but you are aware you cant just recon with the vinegar?

The reason for using acetic acid is to have the right Ph for the IGF to prolong its effective life in the vial, straight vinegar would be too acidic and defeat the purpose, (hurt a lot too I imagine).

Obviously it needs to be filtered and sterilised before use too, as well as being mixed with distilled water (and some BA IMO).
