slin
About to use slin for the first time, do aspirate with a slin pen or just hope for the best.!

And does anybody know a site where you can get replacement pins for the humalog pens?

Always aspirate mate. Also, I just use a slin pin into the cartridge, I don't use the pens

No need to aspirate as slin can be taken sub-q or IM. Doesn't matter, all you'll get is slower release if it doens't all go into the muscle.

As Rob said for the cartridges, just buy some pins and draw out of the cartridge.

diabetics NEVER aspirate and they inject sometimes up to 10x a day

well I always have a rule, dont have many but where slin is concerned......I always have my shake next to me for after the shot, I do this to avoid having to go into the kitchen and risk talking to the missus for more than 1min which could delay me making one up and falling asleep listening to her....lol
