Still no sign of sides except for I am noticing some shut down already, nuts are getting harder and a bit smaller... Positives strengthes maximus and getting leaner and harder

1 working set of 40kg for 8 reps
(Usually use 50kg for 6 reps though I did them alot slower this time)

(Usually use 30kg for 8 reps)

Traps were as followed

Smith Machine Shrugs

2 working set using 140kg and 120kg for 6-8 reps
(Same was week prior, could go more though scared of shoulder damage)

Re: THE NEW CYCLE BEGINS

AFternoon all,

Well just quick update on where I stand with cycle and training...

Today I finally trained legs afer a year lay off due to a back injury :(

Weighed in at gym at 107.5kg so still at same weight as weeks prior...

Training was as followed:
(no laughing at my lifts I no there a little but i need to take care with my back this time, dont wanna make the same mistake ever ever again)

Dead lifts
3xwarmup sets of 15 reps with 30kg,40kg,50kg
1xworking set of 60kg for 8 reps
(no stamina with these lifts at all)

Smith Machine Squats
2xwarmup sets of 15 reps with 30kg,40kg
1xworking set of 60kg for 8 reps
(I am so weak in legs and lower back these were all a struggle)

Standing Calve Raises
2xwarmup set of 15 reps with 20kg,30kg
2working sets of 12 reps with 60kg
(these were the easiest of the entire work out)

I no this is only a very small leg and lower back work out but the tightness I can already feel is a sign that its enough and I am sure that by tomorrow I will be walking like some one has had there way with me LOL

Training on Wednesday is Chest and Tris, I am hoping that my shoulder wont be playing up and I can go a bit heavier than I have been since the injury....

Re: THE NEW CYCLE BEGINS

Morning yall!!!

Well lads the course if progressing rather smoothly I must say, I have noticed that this time the cycle has given me even less sides than the first time. Moods are normal as and aint had a single spot nor have any other sides rared there ugly heads and considering the dosage I am on I must say I am rather happy with the way it going...

I have been doing cardio for 45 mins with ephy mon wed fri though next week I am hoping to change that to mon to fri every morning and try to get this BF to drop away some more ;)

Yesterday I trained Chest and Tri and had a good work out considering my right shoulder still aint 100%

So training was as followed, I am still lifting light as I dont wanna cause any further injury to this shoulder or make the healing process and longer than needs to be...

Its impossible to compare lifts as I have changed my workouts so much since starting this cycle due to my shoulder playing up!

I could easily have gone alot more on all my chest exercise but once again I rather scared of doing permanent damage or even prolonging the damage

Chest

Incline DB
3 warmup sets of 20 reps using 14kg,18kg,22kg DBs
1 working set of 10 reps using 30kg DBs
(These lifts are still down was using 36kg DBs but shoulder wont hold)

Flat DB
2 warmup sets of 15 reps using 22kg and 24kg DBs
1 working set of 12 reps using 32kg DBs
(This lift is also still down was doing 40kg DBs but once again shoulder)

Cable Cross Overs
2 warmup sets of 20 and 15 reps using 20kg and 30kg on each arm
2 working sets of 12 reps using 40kg and 50kg on each arm
(These are same as week prior but I was using alot strictor movement)

Triceps

V-bar Push Downs
2 warmup sets for 15 reps using 40kg and 60kg
1 working set of 12 reps on 80kg
(This was same was last week but it was way to easy)

Kick Backs
1 warmup set of 15 reps using 6kg DB
1 working set of 12 reps using 10kg DB
(Same as last week but I am performing all exercises with better techniq)

Reverse Grip 1 Arm Push Downs
1 working set of 15 reps on 20kg

Rope Push Downs
1 working set of 30 reps on 40kg
(Add this to try and get more pump going, it worked)

I have had to drop weighted dips due to shoulder not feeling right on the downward movement so once again really hard to compare lifts when I aint doing the same exercises as I was before I started the cycle...

I was lazy and skipped abs as I was scared of dropping a turd in my pants while doing crunched LOL not something you wanna do at the gym..

Re: THE NEW CYCLE BEGINS

Afternoon,

Well all another quick up date on my cycle, just back from training. Weighed in today the heviest I have ever been at 109kg ye haaaa

So far that is a 3kg gain in 3 weeks which I am rather happy with and considering that I am using ephy and cardio each morning, I was expecting to stay at same weight as started and just lose some BF...

Training today was back and bis

Back

Reverse Wide Grip Pull Downs
3 warmup sets of 15 reps with 42kg and 49kg
2 working sets, 91kg for 6 reps and 77kg for 8 reps
(This is same as week prior but I am using a different grip, harder to do)

Bent Barebell Rows
2 warmup sets of 15 reps with 40kg and 50kg
2 working sets of 12 reps using 60kg for both sets
(This is first time done these since back injury last year)

Standing Straight Arm Push Downs
1 warmup set of 15 reps with 21kg
1 working set of 8 reps with 42kg
(This lift is 7kg up on week prior)

Seated Cable Rows
1 working set of 77kg for 12 reps
This lift is 14kg up on week prior)

Biceps

Sitting EZ Preacher Curls
2 warmup sets of 15 reps with 15kg plus bar
2 working sets of 10 reps using 25kg plus bar
(First time done these usually do standing version which are easier)

Sitting Hammer Curls with DB's
2 warmup sets of 12 reps using 8kg and 10kg
1 working set of 7 reps using 16kg
(This lift is 2kg up week prior)

Close Grip Cable Curls
1 warmup set of 15 reps on 30kg
1 working set of 7 reps on 55kg
(This lift is up 5kg on week prior)

Also trained abs but to be honest I did an absolute crap job today just couldnt be assed, I so hate training abs I am thinking of starting off with them next week instead of doing at end when I am already knacked from training...

enjoy your weekend all

Re: THE NEW CYCLE BEGINS

UPDATE TIME

Well mofos, how we all doing after that lovely weekend?

Just another quick up date on where I stand with lifts and so fourth, I am into my fourth week of the cycle and all things are going rather nicely I must say still no sides that I can notice....

Today I weighed in at 108.5kg at the gym so thats half a kilo down on friday but still up on what I started at...

My diet has been pretty spot on over the course of this cycle though I have had a cheat day once a week where I much what ever I feel I need to keep me sane during the week...

Todays was Delts and Traps and abber dabbers

Delts

Sitting DB Shoulder Press
3 warmup sets of 15 reps using 18,20,22kg DB's
2 working sets of 10 reps using 26kg and 24kg DB's
(This is 4kg up on last week and I could easily go more, scared of damaging shoulder still but things are definatly looking up)

Standing DB Laterial Arm Raises
2 warmup sets of 15 reps using 6,8kg DB's
1 working set of 8 reps using 10kg DBs
(This lift is 2kg on week prior)

Rear DB Delt Raises

1 workring set of 8 reps using 50kg DB's
(This lift is 10kg up week prior)

Standing Rev Cable Flys
1 warmup set of 15 reps using 25kg
1 working set of 6 repsi using 35kg
(This lift is 5kg up week prior)

Traps

Smith Maching Barbell Shrugs
2 warmup sets of 15 reps using 80kg and 100kg
2 working set of 10 and 12 reps using 120kg and 140kg
(This is same as week prior, I will up this next week)

Upright Barbell Rows using smith Machine
1 warmup set of 15 reps using 30kg
1 working set of 8 reps using 40kg
(First week done these since damaged shoulder, shoulder had no pain)

Standing Dumbell Shrugs
1 warmup set of 12 reps using 36kg DBs
1 working set of 12 reps using 40kg DBs
(This is same as week prior, could easily go more)

Abber Dabbers

3 working sets of crunches doing 50,45 and 40 reps
2 working set of obleque flexs on hyperextension frame for 25 and 20 reps a side

I will change this ab work out on wednesday to accommodate leg lifts to try and bring in the lower abs more as I havent trained them much of late and I am starting to lose that line that runs from your hip down to you groin..

Ardios all

Re: THE NEW CYCLE BEGINS

Ello Yalll...

Update time on cycle and training, weighed in today at a steady 108.5kg again or roughly 240lbs

The girl made a comment that I am looking alot tighter and trimmer, always good to no your hard work is paying off slowly...

I had been feeling a bit off over the past week or so and finally found out that eggs that I have been having for lunch have been giving me the shiits literally and make me feel like absolute garbage so from now on its no more eggs for me :( sucks bad cause I already hate all types of sea food, so its down to chicken and steak and lamb to get my daily intake of protein...

I have split my back routine into lower and upper, today I trained lower back with legs and abs. I am still taking it very easy with lower back and legs as you no I had a very bad back injury late last year.

Training was as followed

Lower back and Legs

Dead Lifts with Barbell
3 warmup sets of 15 reps using 30kg,40kg and 40kg
1 working set of of 8 reps with 60kg
(Same as week prior)

Smith Machine Squats
2 warmup sets of 12 reps using 30kg and 40kg
1 working set of 8 reps using 60kg
(Same as week prior)

Seated Leg Curls
2 warmup sets of 12 reps using 49kg
1 working set of 8 reps using 70kg
(First week done these since back injury last september)

Standing Calve Raises
2 warmup sets of 15 reps using 30kg and 40kg
1 working set of 12 reps using 70kg
(This lift is 10kg up week prior)

Abs

3 sets of straight leg lifts using standing frame for 15,15,12 reps

So these lifts have not increased much from week to week but I could go alot more but Ihave that worrying thought of blowing my lower back out again! Slow and steady is the moto I will be sticking to when training legs and lower back...

I gotta give credits to people who can squat and deadlift a good weight I am finding Im so much more exhausted from just this little work out than from any of the upper body work outs I do!!!

Well thats it for me

Hiya yalll,

Sorry for the lateness on my updates, after last weeks little episode been off in another world trying to work out what I wanna do regarding staying in this country or heading home...

Anyways training on friday was good! Finally my shoulder is starting to hold up on decent lifts again after a 6 week lay off...

I trained chest, tri and abs

Chest was as followed:

DB's Incline Bench

3 warmup sets of 15 reps using 16,18 and 20kg DB's
2 working sets of 10 reps using 34 and 36kg DB's
(Working set was 8kg heavier than previous week)

Cable Cross Overs

2 warmup sets of 15 reps using 20 and 30kg on each arm
2 working sets of 12 reps using 40 and 45kg on each arm
(This was 5kg up on week prior)

Triceps was as followed

Flat Bar Push Downs

2 warmup set of 12 reps using 40 and 60kg
1 working set of 10 reps using 80kg
(This was 3 reps up on week prior)

Single Arm French Presses

2 warmup sets of 12 reps using 6 and 8kg DB's
1 working set of 10 reps using 12kg DB's
(First week done these in a while, no lift to compare too)

Close Grip Bench

2 warmup sets of 12 reps using 40 and 50kg
1 working set of 10 reps using 60kg
(First week done these ever, trying to vary my work outs some more)

Had a great work out on friday didnt feel tired and shoulder held up very nicely...
