Teen in Intensive care.

A few weeks ago i placed a post about a group of teenage lads that go to my gym who share the same dirty pin over and over again and im sorry to have to say that one of them,19 year old is in Intensive Care in Southmead Hospital on a ventilator with severe sepsis.

Sadly hes been given less than a 20% chance of pulling through.
The rest of the group refused to give any info on how he got into the state hes in for fear of getting into trouble which only delayed any help and treatment he could of recieved. To make matters worse even further the substance they were using, believing it to be test prop, turned out to be Caster oil.

Taking these kind of risks will cost you more than you realise.

Fake gear, lack of brain, insuficient kit will cost you your very life.

My thoughts are with the boys family.

Re: Teen in Intensive care.

Thats so sad to hear.It dosnt take a lot to get hold of clean works,so many people ask about it on this board, i dont know but the people who gave him the gear should have at least gave them some pointers, some people are lucky others as you said are not.Ignorence can kill - be clean -be safe. I hope he pulls through.:(

Re: Teen in Intensive care.

I remember when you suggested this weeks ago and I could not believe it at the time.

Castor oil has been used in gear but I bet not right out of the bottle
This sounds very bad.

I hate using the same needle to draw from, I always draw with a fresh needle then shoot with another fresh needle.

Re: Teen in Intensive care.

I'm sorry, but I don't feel sorry for him at all....you tried to warn them and they laughed at you.....I bet they're not laughing now....
I don't mean to be harsh, but I cannot fel sorry or pity for someone who refuses help, then suffers for it later.....
I hope he pulls through and gets better just so he can look you in the eye and know what a pr*ck he has been....
my only pity is for his family, I hope he pulls through for their sake

Hope they pull through, very sad, and difficult to comprehend the circumstances. People need to take more personal responsibility when it come to taking potentially dangerous substances of any kind.

Thats bad, hope he pulls through for his family. Goes to show you need to do your homework and above all be clean. Swabs, pins etc etc are not that expensive in respect of your health
Just hope he pulls through

Sad part is it is totally preventable.
But I do hope he pulls through.
He would be the best person for sensible use.

Re: Teen in Intensive care.

There are a few d*cks in the Bristol area who sell crap stuff and have no idea about how to use gear properly.

I was at my drop in the other day and someone had advised a guy that the best way of losing fat was GH and clen. Of course he had it to hand, how convenient.

I like to think I've helped a few guys at my drop in and thankfully none of them have gotten ill from dodgy gear or needle practice.

whoever supplied them needs shooting. I see a lot of guys about 17-19 using gear at the gyms I go to and its obvious that they havent really researched it or been advised properly.

Re: Teen in Intensive care.

You're right Tom exept for the 'Few' its more like 'Alot' of di**s in Bristol.
There biggest error of judgement was buying gear from the local crack dealer who's only interest is filling his wallet with your hard earned cash while you fill your bloodstream with god knows what.

Im pleased to say that he's safely behind bars after Police raided his flat in the wee hours of this morning, his little counterfeiting operation was discovered in a bathroom cabinet along with enough white powder to do Christmas all over again.

This whole situation along with a very nasty fatal stabbing on Friday night has got me thinking of selling house and moving out of this deralict nut hole.

Re: Teen in Intensive care.

i can remeber you saying this mate, if i remember rightly it was thread i started.

what annoys me though is that everything is available for free (apart for the gear) and even if you pay for the stuff its only pennies.

i just recieved 100 blue pins ,100 syringes and a couple of hundrd swaps for less than 20 quid.

ffs its not worth risking for the sake of a couple of quid.

hope he pulls through but **** me he must have knew about the risks he was taking

Andye, just off topic a little; have you not considered going to a local chemist for needles etc? I do.

The assistants behind the counter don't even ask or look at you in a horrible way because they're used to serving smackrats, not bodybuilders.

They even like the fact we can hold a conversation as opposed to murmours...
