Re: blood tests

This has been covered in a few threads, I think there was no definitive answer. The options are:

Go to your own GP: They may not help at all, possibly becoming irrate at you in the process. Having roids on your med docs will kill any possibility of a number of careers and will negate any medical insurance possibly. If you do find a roid friendly GP however you will have free tests for life!

Go to online test facility: Currently most offer saliva testing which is not the best test for accuracy. This is expensive at about £80 per test. This is easy though and requires no consultation.

Get a private GP: Records are confidential, you don't have to declare the Private GP to anyone, just give them your NHS one. They are impartial as you are paying them, they are expensive though with both a registration fee and a consultation fee + any tests.

We need an online Laboratory that will do blood testing at a reasonable price. Of course then you would need someone to take your blood but that wouldn't be too hard, a practise nurse at your GP can do it, say its for STD screening.

Re: blood tests

You could always try your local needle exchange and see if they provide this service. My local one does including liver and kidney function tests etc and it is free and confidential.

Thats great! I will have to look into that. The only thing that troubles me is the thought of sitting there with some crack head in the waiting room hell its free though so I will have to look into it.
