Just had an abcess removed... Take heed!

What a nightmare today has been. It started last Thursday (the final jab of my cycle) after injecting 1.5ml of APEX Test Propionate into my right bum cheek. Half of the liquid shot out immediately over the wall and a small pocket formed under the skin which has happened before when the liquid doesnt fully enter the muscle deeply enough.
After a couple of days a large lump appeared and it started getting itchy.
I squeezed it only for loads of pus to come out and went up to A and E where they had to make a 2 inch incision and take out a GOLF BALLS size worth of pus. I am now bandaged up and expecting to be back into training in a week or so.
I am wondering if any one has had this happen? I know the APEX stuff I use is good stuff but it leaves lumps and bumps all over my body unless I dilute the tren/prop with a milder AAS like deca or primo.
I am wondering whether certain brands would give more chance of someone developing an abcess or whether the reason for it was because I had used alternate bum cheeks for my shots for 7 weeks and not used any other muscle as it completely deadens that muscle for days on end.
Either way its been a nightmare and in future I may switch to a different brand and rotate injection sites.

Mate prop is a harsh med, you have to rotate it, I never jab prop in the same place less than a week apart.

I always cut prop with more oil or another med, also take time to inject it and make sure I get the site right and deep in the muscle.

I think your problem was bad technique and poor use of site rotation. The brand of gear will only afftect the mg per ml which may make it hurt more, but all labs SHOULD be sterile, i belive Apex is.

Hope it heals quick mate,

Jamie

I do think that the more mg/ml that's being crammed into these jabs isn't necessarily a good thing......there has to be a line drawn surely.....

Re: Just had an abcess removed... Take heed!

Hope it heals quickly, a little tip for you. im assuming they gave you meds to take through the healing process.Would be a good idea to ask for more/ say you lost them somewhere etc, then if this happens again you have the meds on hand to avoid being opened again.

Not sure if it is the strength causing it, ive had 200mg/ml prop x2ml in my delts and just got chronic pain yet no abcess

Re: Just had an abcess removed... Take heed!

I had a similar problem and mine was down to bad tech and stupidity, did a jab and got all light headed pulled it out waited and did it again rushed through it and ended up with a really warm muscle 24/7 and got super itchy. but didnt nead it drained, used loads of antiseptic wipes, creams etc and it went away after abt a week or so but still really hurts every time i re-inject that site (right Glute)

But sorted out my tech now take my time do it nice and deep and slowly ( i use 1 1/4 blues to inject btw and leave the whole lot in for abt a min after the jab so it dont come rushing back up to the surface.

Re: Just had an abcess removed... Take heed!

i am using both Apex Tren and Prop knocking 1.5ml of each in a pump with a ml of Primo so 2.5ml in each site with no problems what so ever but i do agree with every one else reading your thread it seems that you need to improve your injection techique as it does not sound like you are going deep enough into the muscle if you are using a blue pin then start using a green one...

I use green pins. Usually go very deep but this time I didnt go as deep if I remember and as soon as I released the needle, half the gear flew out so I presume I had hit the same spot as a few days before which couldnt have helped. My body fat is fairly low so not the cause.
I would guess Apex stuff is sterile so not the reason even though the stuff hurts like a bitch if used alone.

Re: Just had an abcess removed... Take heed!

also, if you have an abcess with loads of pus under the skin then surely taking just medication wouldnt clear the problem, doesnt it actually need to be surgically removed? i have taken 3 days of meds from doc and it didnt help clear it up at all

No, it is an infection, you said they lanced it then gave you some anti-biotics right?

If yes to above you should be fine.

I've never jabbed my glutes, I find it so much easier to control doing my delts and outer quads....why reach round behind yourself when there's no need....

MASSIVEMONSTER -
do you think this would have happened under the same circumstances using pharma?
