I know this is sort of na weird qusetion to ask, but has any one noticed that they get more jealous about there other half when on gear.

Recently i have been getting reali jealous about my other half being out with other men and i dont even like the thought of her talking to other men.

i used to be quiet a jealous person with my x, but reali did think i got over that.

Do you think this could be gear related or do u think im going back to my old ways ?

No, NO and NOOOO! If you're jealous it means you're insecure because deep down you don't trust your partner. I hate jealous control freaks, my mum was married to one after my dad and he slap her around in front of me WHEN I WAS 9! SO NO, it's not the gear IT'S YOU, SORT IT OUT.

i can honestly say that im not a insecure person, but maybe i dont trust my partner fully coz of the distance. And trust me im not a control freak either.

i have had other gf since the x i was jealous with and was fine, so i was wondering if gear can trigger it off, i know it sounds like a stupid question, just thought id ask though

Well alot say ROID rage is a myth, others say it isn't. I think it's down to the individual. This may be your reaction. But why are you jealous? Relationships are built on trust mate so if there's no trust there's no relationship.

Just out of interest, how come your other half is out with other men anyway?

Has your partner given you a reason not to trust her?

craig if you get jealous about her with other men just shag about to take your mind of it lol. No i used to not get jealous as such just paranoid but at the time i drank alot and smoked pot alot but i stopped that and as i've got older its slowey dissapeared my missus is stayin away for a work meeting on wed and i'm not even that bothered i'm just thinking of the peace and quite i'll get lol.If your young matey it will die down with age.Lukey not every jealous man will be a women beater i'm sorry you delt with that but you cant go through life thinking that all jealous men will beat their birds even granny's get jealous sometimesits not always a bad thing

what i mean when i say shes out with other men is that, shes down the pub with a group of people including men.

the only reason is that i dont reali know the people that shes out with.

And obvioulsy i know what we men r like, have a few beers then we will try it on, regardless if she has a bf.

Yeh but that's when you should trust her and realise she would tell them to jog on if she actually wanted to be with you. If you're concerned then have a sit down with her. It will only get worse, you'll start checking her phone, calling her all the time to check where she is what she is doing.

craig if the is alot of distance and it does you head in unless your really keen on her and one of you is going to move bin her and find someone closer to home then you wont have to worry so much.

Jealousy is the worst emotion in the world. I know how much it can rip you apart. You cannot control it and it hurts so bad.

The worst thing is that the more jealous you get the more you push her away.

I used to be very jealous in my LTR but I never will be again - I had to change my entire life to change that though and I wouldn't really recommend that - baiscally I don't think I will every fully trust a woman again but I will also never fully commit myself to one relationship + I know i will always have other options...

I can't speak for anyone else but my jealousy had nothing to do with the girl - I trusted her completely (wrongly as ti turned out) it all came from me and a lack of self belief - I knew she would always turn them down but it hurt me that these guys thought that they were a better option for her than me.

well the plan is she is going to uni in london, so i will be staying there alot hopefully coz im gonna change my job and wrk in london soon.

thats another thing that worrys me is the fact she going to uni, every couple that i have met have mostly split up coz the person in uni has cheated.

the thing is im 23 and shes 18, shes at the age where she hasnt done alot and is just edxperiencing her freedom

American history X IMO explains perfectly how this works (it is about racism but I believe the principles are the same) - hating someone, somethng only makes you feel worse...You have to get to know, learn to understand and try to love them to stop your own pain......

The prob is mate that your so negative its not your fault but if you condem something before its happened it proberly will go bad i think you need to end it be on your own for a while and find yourself have fun with your mates shag around train hard and get big and then find someone when your ready just my opinion.Think of the cash your save at xmas you can buy more gear!!!!!

We've all got jealousy in our system, otherewise we wouldn't be normal. I too used to have a long distance relationship but it made me stronger.

Just learn to trust her. She wouldn't bother being with you all that way if she wasn't interested buddy...
