OH you lads are GOOD!

Paul G is right, the liver has remarkable regenerative properties, so it can take some serious abuse. However, while the liver is healing, you are not going to be growing much.

Also, some liver enzymes elevate at the drop of a hat, like GGT (gamma glutamyl tranferase).

Elevated liver enzymes mean that more of your liver cells are dying and releasing their enzymes than you would normally expect from the usual cell turnover.

ALT is also a liver/bone enzyme, do you have the level for that? And the bilirubin?

Please also list the total protein, albumin, globulin, U/E, and in the FBC (if you had) RBCs, WBCs, HCT, MCV, Neutrophils, Monocytes, Lymphocytes and anything else if it is abnormal.

No scientific papers, and just going on a gut instinct and logic, but if your body is healing, it won't be growing. Obviously there are exceptions, there are always exceptions.

IGF-1 is manufactured in the liver

So is cholesterol:
Cholesterol is very necessary stuff. It's converted into Vitamin D by sunlight, and it's the precursor for steroid hormones like the testosterone you need to grow, and the estrogen women need to be feminine.

The liver manufactures something like 1,000 mg of cholesterol per day, even if you consume no cholesterol at all. Of that amount, about 800 mg becomes bile salts, which is necessary for the digestion of fats.[Guyton, 885] That leaves about 200 available for other functions.

Testosterone is also produced in the liver and adrenals in women.

Vince Gironda felt that liver tablets are anabolic and have unspecified growth hormones in them, they also are a natural aromatase inhibitor.

riiight that does make sense.. and with all the liver toxification and unhealthy levels it wont be able to produce optimum amounts of test, cholestoral, IGF-1 .. which ofcourse does affect our growth. So by repairing our liver via liver support we are promoting growth which in a sense does make liver tablets anabolic without side effects and only to the extent of our natural genetics unlike AAS.

Heavy drinking is messing you up mate.
no need for 3 liters or 4 a day, such a myth ... but for sure id replace it for the alcohol , at least 2 liters per day is what you want. id say lay off the alcohol when on a cycle, although it may be hard for some ppl... and lay off that d bol ASAP!
orals are delicated to use specially if you consume other stuff such as drugs alcohol , etc. everybody that has used drugs or alcohol knows that gear makes you just want more... defo not a good mix.

i think everybody here has done a great job on giving you tips on this issue.
so read the threads over and over mate. try to do a little more research next time.
