scott leeson's off season training journal

hi guys.

now that the diet and shows are over for the year its time to get BIG!

as you will know if you followed my last thread, im going to have the help of Pscarb throughout my off season and prepping me for my shows next year, where i hope to have a crack at the british.

i had a few days off after the show, then eased myself back into training last week with a couple of good sessions...arms...chest...back. then this week, come monday i started hitting it a little harder with quads and calves. did a great session and im still suffering now. chest yesterday, felt very strong! nice to not feel like a weed in the gym now im eating.

my split is going to be

monday: quads/calves
tuesday:chest/arms
wednesday:rest
thursday:back/hams/calves
friday:shoulders/arms
sat:rest
sun:rest

i may switch some of them around or add in some extr bits every now and again to switch it up a bit.

eating a lot at the moment! all clean foods, with 1 or 2 cheats a week, keeping protein around 280g and carbs around 400-450g and fats 100g.

carbs are from sweet spuds, rice, oats and sometimes pasta.

ive rebounded nicely from my shows and stayed lean with it, hoping to stay around the bodyfat% im at now. i have all my abs and a some fat on my lower back everything is staying quite lean. i dont want to look fat just cos im bulking, i want to look like a bodybuilder.

currently doing my pct after my cutting corse, and i seem to have made some decent gains during my diet! my arms have grown a lot...almost an inch.

anyway...i will be posting up updates on training and how im looking every now and again with some pics from time to time.

scott

there is no number in mind we are going for quality muscle gains it could be 5lbs or 15lbs to set a specific number can lead to problems as to acheive this number you would eat crap then the number becomes void......

Re: scott leeson's off season training journal

thats a good point. I hadn't really looked at it that way. Are you going to concentrate on adding that muscle to specific areas or is that impossible and just looking for overall mass?
