![]() | EPF English Open Only 8 weeks to go now to this show, which is on 24th May at Cornbow Hall, Halesowen. Perfectly timed for anyone who is in shape for the NABBA Qualifiers and Britain, or any other show around the time. Classes are Novice, o40, Junior (which is under 23 years), figure, physique and weight classes u65/75/85/95 and over 95 kilos. Its a qualifier for the WPF Europeans in Stuttgart two weeks later. And with the support of enough competitors and spectators a full team will be taken away, flights and accomodation paid for. The EPF has boasted many high placing athletes at both the Worlds and Euros in times past, including many world champions. This is only the second contest run by the EPF since its re-birth last year, and the opportunity to take a national title and represent your country in international competition should be too good to say no to, so don't! Everyone is welcome, no politics, no B.S. check out the website at www.epf.org.uk or ring Karl "Funky Chicken" Bhattacharyya on 07989 866420. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: EPF English Open I might do this show mate. Will do the first timers show as im a first timer. I am hovering around 18 stone right now at 5ft 10, biggest ive ever been, quite a bit bigger than my avatar pic...but was originally intending to do the south east on the 18th, im not going to enter if im not looking my best though. Ie...if my condition isnt what i know i can get it to. I have 6 weeks till the south east and 7 weeks till the epf so might choose the epf to do my first show instead seeing as it gives me an extra 6 days to tighten up incase im not tight enough by the 18th, i dont want to be carrying any water. Alternatively if im ready for the south east then i might turn up for the over 95kg class at the epf...could do with the experience and pushing myself harder against the bigger guys because i plan on taking a year off competing and going straight to ukbff heavies in 2010...the experience would be v good for me (even if i get beaten lol). |

![]() | Re: EPF English Open Theres no first timers class at the EPF, just a trophy for best first timer in the Novice class. You'd be welcome in either novice or 95 class though. From your avatar, you'd do well in either to be honest. Look forward to seeing you there. Lee. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: EPF English Open Cool mate, so what are the pre requisites in the novice class? I havent competed before mate, i look quite a bit better than in my avatar pic as that was over a year ago mate. I am much more complete now, more mass everywhere, rear delt was crap then as id never trained it, now my shoulders are totally proportioned and looking one of my best bodyparts. I might be doing my first timers show the week before, so if i compete in that, then can i enter the novices in this show or will it be the o95's? If i was lucky and managed to do very well in my first timers show and win it (not saying i will), would that mean im still eligable for novices? |
