Do or Die

Got into bodybuiding when I was 19,was doin ok as well.Then when I was 21 (1986), 21/2 ton of steele fell on me(a dowty mining base if theres any pit men out there)the firebrigade came out amulance,police,it was mad

shattered tib/fib(left leg)
severed femeral artery and vein (left leg)
broken radial(left arm)
nerve/tendon damage left hand
90 units of blood 1st op

3days later on life support in intensive care unit (itu)
2 wks later of life support still in itu
3wks later didnt have the strenght to lift my own body weight with a pull bar they put over my bed
1mnth later left hospital in a wheel chair,left hand useless,stuck in a clenched fist position.
had 4 more ops on leg (grafts external fixaters,now a metal rod inside the bone knee to ankle)
metal plates in arm,tendon transfers on hand
was told i would be disabled for the rest of my life,and couldnt have kids cause of the indurys
It took 3 yrs to loose the chair and cruches
2 more years to lose the walking stick
started rehab work on my self at home low weights simple circuits
Joined a gym 2001 @18 stone sat on a bike for 5 days a week for 12 months watching the bodybuilders,some off them takin the p**s
2002 down to 13stone started using some free weights light compounds
2003 weights gettin heavier, gettin stronger
2004 ****ed the p**s taking bodybuilders
2005 1st cycle DB's
Today 40 yrs old, married 3 kids my own,done 4 small cycles since 2005 read everything over the years, learnt as much as possible and i still dont know anything, Ive always known how i want to look since I was 19 thats what keeps me going,only 1 thing on my mind i havn't got there yet but i will.i only have 1 photo taken last year in france dont know how to put on here though.if you could help dont expect to much

Wow. That's the kind of determination that put's many top athletes to shame, you should be proud of yourself. With this mindset & the right advice, you WILL get the physique you wanted all those years ago.

My advice would be to stick to the basics, train 3-4 times a week max & hit each bodypart once a week. Try as many different methods as you like (HIT is my preferred method overall) till you find what works for you. Remember that bodybuilding is about the aesthetic, so try not to get too sucked into the whole ''how much can you bench'' thing & this way you'll avoid unnecessary injuries that will hinder progress. Pop your training split up & some info on your diet if you want a little guidance.

it might possibly be the size of the image, in the box you are uploading it in it should say towards the top whether the image is to large or why it cant upload it.

Now remember guys ive been through a lot,CV's hard work for me because of leg injury,be kind I think its commin slowly and im 40 now,got a lot of catchin up to do.

split would b
day 1 squats if leg feels ok, leg press for saftey if not( put in extensions + curls on light days pre exhaust)
day 2 shoulders seat smith press or seated DB (lateral raises pre exhaust light days)
day 3 off
day 4 Back dead lifts + Lat pul downs
day 5 off
day 6 chest bar or DB inclines + DB flys
All usually 3 x 8-10 after warm up every mnth I do 1 rep max
Before I do a cycle I go as heavy as I can 2 wks befor so as to assess my limits
dont need any more injurys.
I do play with this routine but they are my basics
Dont train Abs, I use a technique called blocking cause I dont wear a belt
Arms are done Bis with chest Tri with back, just feel I get a wammey on my arms eg( BIS already used when I train back)

That's a sensibly structured split, allowing adequate recuperation time, but I'd suggest a one on, one off protocol right through wherever possible. Don't worry too much about over training arms, you are not in any danger of that. So long as you stick to two basic movements on them when you do chest & back you will be fine. I'd suggest 2-3 warm up sets then one to failure at 6-10 reps (lower end for small muscle groups, higher end for larger ones).

Your diet is where the real changes will stem from so what's that like?

thanks nine pack, will do, goin back on soon, havnt been on for four mnths, was thinking
Rhom tren( parabolon) / pharma-bold / pharma mast.prefer (bold)EQ over deca. Reasons (I hold water adema left leg) dont know about any test. aims everything i do from this cycle will be towards AUGUST 2008 french gathering with 100 M8s,
