![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Rightyho Feeling HUGELY motivated right now. The last two weeks of training have been nothing short of absolutely brutal and, though depleted, me and my training partner have simply FORCED ourselves to get stronger from workout to workout as the bodyfat melts off. You know when you just "gel" with someone - well, that's how it is on our training sessions. He won't give up and neither will I, and we're both keeping it ultra-strict with very little cheating, and plenty of peak contractions. Been doing quite a few supersets and giant sets and I'm pretty sure I've thickened up a fair bit on last year, already. At 14 stone 5lb this morning before breakfast and legs are visibly bigger than last year with cross cuts just appearing. Abs are getting there - a little to come off the lower section. Lower back has a barely-visible christmas tree when pulling into the lat spread pose. Overall back width is up massively on last year - ninepack showed me the way on this earlier in the year and it has proper responded. 10 or 11 weeks to go to the UKBFF qualifiers and I have NO idea what I'll weigh this year - no point trying to predict it because condition is improving by the day but overall weight isn't moving downwards too much. Protein is very high - high enough for ninepack to raise an eyebrow over it, and fats are moderate. It's working, so I'll keep it like this for now. My training partner is hardening up a treat too and is stood at just under 15 stone looking hard and vascular. I'd be surprised if he's onstage much below 13 and a half stone, which will mean around a stone gain for him on last year. Also motivating me is a bit of a challenge from another guy at the gym, who is also doing the UKBFF intermediates. He's stage-ready now at 13 stone 2lb but looks a fair bit heavier than that and has a great shape. He's my height (dwarf). There are apparently five others from gyms in my city also doing the same shows this year, so it's Challenge Anneka time - and I'll keep squatting till I topple over to hold my ground. ![]() The Britain last weekend was also motivating to see several from this board place so well. Brilliant community. Right, back to watching the clock until it's time for my next meal. I'm hungry. ![]()

The one the week before in Dorchester is just a little too far to travel to, though you never know. Will probably do the Lincs show again as a warm-up - that's on in 6 weeks, I think. Won't be peeled for it but should be bigger and harder than last year. ![]()

Just had another one of their staff on confirming our placements - you could email him direct jluscombe@nhc.ac.uk and mention he was on the phone to keith at Best Bodies this afternoon. His name is James and he's keen to get people signed up since Gordon Brown's lot pays him for every one he gets on the free of charge courses. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Rightyho Just over two weeks since my last update and I'm 6lb lighter on the scales (very carb-depleted both times to ensure a like-for-like weighing match) - now at 86kg depleted - and about to have a decent carb-up day tomorrow. Somewhere around 9% bodyfat if not a little lower. Legs just about ready (as usual), abs, intercostals, serratus all there, christmas tree in lower back. Aiming to get tighter than last year - somewhere around the ripped glutes stage. Not much more to add really, except for daily diet: 1.2kg chicken 170g almond butter 1 x Cytosport 40g whey isolate drink Cinnamon, salt, cajun spices Water, coffee Pro-Vital Nothing else.
