The 2007 Mr Titan Show will be held on SUNDAY 29th APRIL at the London Hackney Empire. The guest star and some new classes will be announced shortly. As well as this year's Titan, the Empire was recently the venue for Wayne Demilia's UK Night of the Champions in which Lee Priest, Rodney St.Cloud and Sami Al-Haddad all competed. Many considered it the best venue for a bodybuilding show they had appeared in with its wonderful stage and unrivalled lighting and sound system, and not forgetting the fine backstage, competitor-friendly facilities and dressing rooms.

Hullo Tatyana,
Good to hear from you. We had been waiting for a date for the Titan for some time, so when we got it, we rushed the news into print without delay. Unfortunately, they are going to have to operate on my knee again before then. The problem seems to have gone on forever. However, I am hoping to go all out to make the Titan as unusual and spectacular a bodybuilding show as I can, and that's the theatre to do it in!! The best lighting and stage you could possibly find outside the West End itself.

Further to the previous posts regarding this show, the new (and old) classes will be as follows: For men: Mr Titan under 190lbs, Mr Titan over 190lbs, First Timers (must be first ever show), Juniors (under 21), Seniors (over 40), Best Physique Gym Instructor/Personal Trainer, Best Physique Police Officer + Mr Body Fitness (a combination of muscles and agility). For the ladies: Miss Figure Beginners (must not have placed in top 3 of any previous figure contest for any federation), Miss Body Fitness (agility and toned body). Please note: the pre-judging requires only individual compulsory poses, line-ups and comparisons. At the evening show, however, imaginative posing using costumes, props etc will be rewarded in all categories. You may liaise with LAMPS nearer the time with regard to any lighting changes and SPX you would like to include in your routine. I wil be competing again and may be the last time (Along with the NABBA April) for a few years... I can feel a change in career upon me and there will be no time to diet for some years after this, so I will make it my best!...

Your ladies categories eliminates at least half, if not more, of the women that could compete.

I can't do your show now, I have placed second in figure in WABBA, and there is no way I could do the bouncy bouncy fitness thing. Most of the girls don't do the bouncy bouncy thing either.

Dear Tatyana,
Thanks for your post. I understand you are disappointed in not being able to compete but our aim is to encourage many more girls to enter shows as 'first timers'. The ladies classes we used this year sadly did not result in big line-ups, and we aim to change that next time. The show itself will be very different from the norm. While the judging remains essentially the pure competition, the evening show is geared towards making the whole thing more entertaining and spectacular for the audience. If you can't do that at the Hackney Empire, where can you? I hope you will understand our motives and at least come along to see the show. Your comments as to its success or otherwise will be much appreciated.

A new class has been added to the 2007 Mr Titan Show at the London Hackney Empire on 29th April next year, in addition to those already posted. It will be the 'Most Muscular Teenage (under 18)' and will complement the Juniors (under 21) class previously announced. The name of the guest star will be posted later.
