How much does it cost to prepare for a show?

This is aimed at the lads on here who compete. I was wondering on average how much does it cost to prepare for a show? I'm not talking an annual cost, but say based on 12-16 weeks to prepare for a show.

Thanks

Paul.

Tan and trunks about £40 couldnt tell you how much I spent but varied £20-£35 a week for about 14weeks.Its more the cost of my waldrobe as I had to buy new clothes as I got smaller(annoying).

£200 on gear

=£800

Thanks for the replys. I thought it would be more expensive than that. At least I know for future reference as I've decided to give myself a full year with a view on competing. I was just curious as to whether the cost during the prep weeks would put me off.
