Thread: IFBB Worlds Bikini winner fails drug test

The winner of the Bikini class at last years IFBB Worlds failed the drug test......

there was 3 women who failed here are the new placings...

Can't personally see reason to test the competitors. Anyone have differing thoughts on this?

Wonder if they'll test the Olympia competitiors

did it say what she was using to fail?

I think with the men its only diueretics that they fail on, l may be wrong tho..

Although in the IFBB rule book that the UKBFF keep saying they have to follow (when it comes to competing with other Feds) it clearly says that both judges and competitors should promote drug free sport......
It also says that any IFBB affiliate show should be drug tested, the worlds is the only one that is tested and everyone knows this (I don't think it should be though)

There is no details to what the 3 girls where banned for, I am more surprised about the Bikini winner than anyone else to be fair......

I think most of them are using anyway, only some get caught!

Somewon at my gym won some amatuer 'natural' bodybuilding competition but he still took short ester'd test / tren when he was way off the competition. if you come only take short esters and come off long enough before the comp to let your t/e ratio stabalise there is little that they can do to test for it(except for examining your **** maybe!)

Athletes in all sports will chemically enhance themselves if they can get away with it, for alot of them their careers depend on it...

It's not a natural show it is a drug tested show totally different but I do agree I do not see the point.....

i can sort of understand the bikin class being tested, as there really shouldnt be any need for use of anything to achieve that look.

but bodybuilders? come on, thats just wrong. who are they trying to kid that it is or could ever be a natural sport, at the levels of muscularity they look for and reward with show wins??

The IFBB Worlds is the only IFBB show that is tested, the rule book says that the IFBB and affiliates (UKBFF) should promote non drug use plus test competitors but it is not a natural federation.....

they reward the hardest and dryest look, knowing full well what it takes at that level to achieve it.

anway, as a community we should support our best guys and girls. Its sad and rather hypocritical that this has been used against the people involved by some.

Yea but Daz this has been the case for years Ronnie Coleman got his procard at this show.....everyone knows it is tested so everyone takes steps to avoid detection, they all choose to compete knowing the test will happen so if they are caught it is there fault mate.......for me I see no reason for this or any other IFBB show to be tested it is stupid that to qualify for this show you are not tested and after you have progressed from this show you are not tested......
