2006 westmidlands champ leamington spa 17 sept - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

my cousin is competing in first timers at the leamington spa show, and uncle is entering the over 40s (seniors) at the same show..

wondered if anyone had any experience of the standard of competion at this show or anyone competing in this show them selves.. was going to myselt but recently craked to discs in my spine (prolapysed disc) deadliftng ha ha.

any info would be great????

I think its fairly hard to tell mate, almost certain that you will have to see on the day! That is part of the fun tho!

i was shocked at the quality of the fellas at the NABBA north in may mate it was my first show and even the first timers looked like seasoned pro's compared to me!!

got myself a trainer now(who never lets up) and a good training partner so hopefully ill be ok

I went 2 years ago but as said above you never realy know until the day.

There are some good lads in the midlands though.

don't worry about anyone else. Even the best physiques can look bad with improper dieting

thanks for the replies lads... it will be a good show, but as long as they go on stage knowing they are in the best shape they possible can be, then if they get beat fair play to the guy who beat them..

they are in good shape though 6 weeks from the show.. uncle will hit the stage at 13 stone, but looks huge and ripped, he will do well, hopefully qualify for the british in october..good shape for 44

cousin is 23, also in good shape hoping to hit stage around 16'5 cut, coming on well..he is treating it as a learning show, but will do well ..

nice one lads for the replies again.. looking forward to the show..... any 1 going to the wabba show this weekend????

Mate take some pictures and post them up on the board! I think a few of us (about 12) are going to the show in Colchester this Sat, I think a couple of peeps on the board are competing.....should be loads of pics from that

it ll be first wabba show i been 2, expecting a better show than the naaba midlands in brierley hill the other month,
