Re: Upright Rows

If by strengthening you mean damaging then yes

But in answer to your question, it all depends which part of the rotator cuff you are targeting.

Do you have shoulder problems?

I do get slight pain in my Right shoulder but it is a lot better than it was because I have been taking cissus for a couple of months and that stuff works wonders

Re: Upright Rows

Cissus is good stuff - but tastes like a donkeys ar$e. Do you cap it or buy it capped?

I'd see a physio. Shoulder problems tend to get worse by ignoring them in my experience.

Do you have any loss of range of movement? Where and when do you get the pain?

Re: Upright Rows

Bloody hell - Necking Cissus like that you must be in pain!

Upright rows are more likely to aggravate the injury IMO. Avoid behind the neck pressing as well.

Have a search of google for shoulder rehab routines. Resistance bands are usually very helpful, but I'd certinly see a physio.
