When you do go back to lifting ..........use the smith machine for your military presses.
To strengthen the shoulder you need to do some rotator cuff exercises http://www.bodyresults.com/E2RotatorCuff.asp

Make sure you rest it properly first. I dislocated mine - kept training and it just got weaker and weaker - having keyhole surgery now.

Were you doing behind the neck presses?

Man, this might give you some problems later on.

Rotator exercises will be a very good idea, interior and exterior rotator exercises.

You can work all the legs you can.

I would not do anything that will aggrivate that shoulder tho. This could add some more time to the healing.

I think HGH helps with connective tissue. I have used some IGF-1 on an off for 5 cycles and my shoulder is almost 100%

Sorry to hear bro, that had to hurt like hell.

Rotator cuff exercises are spot on, but you will probably need a lot of rest before then. Use heat and massage to help stimulate healing.

For the future, never press anything above your head that takes your hands out of view, or pull anything for that matter. your shoulder wasn't designed with that movement in mind as cavemen reached up and in front to pick berries from the trees

Thanks Guys,

For your information it did F**king hurt !!!!
I hate letting people see me in pain so I managed to get out of the gym and collapse into my car before calling the ambulance....

They were standard Military presses not behind the head ones.

Am going to rest it for a long period (another 4 or 5 weeks) Then slowly get the movement back into it and then start the rotator exercises and gently get back into the shoulder exercises but will only use the smith machine in the future.....

Massage sounds like a good idea.....I will have to give one of the girls a call in the local paper ha ha ha

Thanks

Paul
