![]() | Innocent smoothies... Just bought a few of these, and they are fcuking magic, whack in a couple of scoops of protein and you've practically got a meal there as well as fulfilling fruit and veg portions for the day. A tad expensive tho, but they're on offer in the supermarkets at the min i think. ![]()

The reason that the milk is so heavily pasturised(heated up) is that they pump the poor cows with so many growth and antibiotic drugs that the milk is saturated with the substances which are so bad for us,not to mention all the bacteria that has become immune to the drugs, but if the had left the poor beasts alone and still allowed raw milk and banned the use of drugs our own immune systems would have adapted to fight the bacteria itself without the use of drugs(all about money for the pharmacutical companies)the same goes for eggs and salmonella...we drank raw milk for centuries and never had many problems yet the add drugs to the mix and just look at how many kids are allergic to the stuff and suffer from things like eczema(sp)as an example..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey OSC your last post got me thinking..(jees theres a novelty!) my daughter had a severe reaction to a cows milk product early on after weaning her off the breast(the wifes not mine) and as a consequence we were advised to put her on a soya formula instead. the missis was a bit put out by this and felt that she was,nt a "normal"kid but the nutricionalist mentioned the very same stuff as you, and one thing the expert said sticks in my mind she said "your baby is a human baby not a baby cow , there is nothing abnormal about her" a bit extreme , iknow but makes ya think eh? eventually after a few nights in hospital challenging her with various milk products and monitering her, she slowly built up a tolerance. now its barley noticable, but anyway i have in the cupboard 3 massive tins of soya based baby formula (you,ve guessed already what i,m about to ask, havent you?) seems a shame to throw it away and i thought a certain times of the year it would make a tub of pure whey go a bit farther ?? am i talking bollox and should stop being tight and bin it>

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I`m not a great fan of soy milk as it causes just as many allergic reactions as normal milk and hinders the absorbtion of protein plus can increase oeastrogen in males. As for using regular baby milk in drinks I used to do this yrs ago as an old powerlifter told me thats what they used to do to increase overall protein content and quality as baby milk used to be of a very high standard compared to powders back then... Another tip for thiose with kiddies or even for themselves,if you ever get the sh!ts avoid milk based products like the plague as they irritate the stomach lining and make everything worse so you have the sickness for longer..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | there is also a guy from Ghana trains in our gym and does really well in the comps but he has problems with milk too. i read somewhere that this is down to the non-exposure of it thoughout history and that whole races cannot process it at all. Dont the Inuits have a simelar trouble with certain foods too? ie, the foods that could,nt have possibly been part of there natural diet due to their location?

This all ties in with what a doctor wrote about in a book called "Eat right for your type" in that every persons genetic code predetermines what we can and cant eat,so those with an old blood type are more stable and have fewer health issues if the stick to basic foods like meat, fish and some veg(think keto or paleo)others are better on high fruit diets, some high complex carbs like rice and wheat(these are the so called newer blood types)...

| Looking Freaky | how about the monguls - they are pretty into horse's milk.... and The Masi like cows milk (albeit fresh) and cow's blood. I seem to remember either Hackskii or Winger gogin into detail about the Inuit people and thier diet... I can drink enough cows milk myself - I drink @ 3ltrs of it per day - I'd rather drink it over any other beverage..... I'm thinking it may be a good idea to switch to Organic stuff - is there any difference in taste?? |
