Re: Quark!

Is that the fat-free German soft cheese? In Germany it's used a lot in baking or to replace cream.

Re: Quark!

I made some suger free rasberry jelly using half pint water
1/4 pint hot to melt jelly
1/4 cold to cool
stired in 2 tubs quark
looked like peptobismol
put in fridge to set
tasted and texture like rasberry flavuored cream fresh
I suppose you could use any flavoured jelly

Re: Quark!

Ill give that a try next, sounds good, my cake has turned out amazing.....the only problem is i have no idea how i just made it,

1 tub of quark, ate some
2 handfuls of red skin peanuts, ate some of those too
2 cups of oats but kept adding until not too runny
2 bananas
4 egg whites, one yolk
2 scps of choc whey

Just made it up as went along, but turned out more cakey than flapjack as mixture wasnt that dry
Gas mark 4 in oven and just kept checking prob about 30mins,
Wont be able to move later, will have to hide it somewhere....

Re: Quark!

Ok, my pre-sleep meal is;

Tub of quark, bit of options chocolate, bit of water... mix up until it's thick yoghurt like'

Eat that, then a handful of nuts and 5 fish oil caps!

Goes down a treat

Re: Quark!

I use quark and mix with chocolate protein powder (made into a paste first) fold it all together and then set it like a cheesecake.
