I am a bit perturbed by the blended broccolli Mr. Smooth, or is that why you are called this, all your food is in the form of smoothies? x x x T | |

| Banned | Hi, Yeah, started training in Soho Gym this week in the afternoons. It is indeed the little door on the High Street next to Barclays. It's pretty good for freeweights; dumbells to 50kg, plenty of benches and more exotic machines. I seem to be the only straight guy in there, though. And for some reason I couldn't lift as much on the 45. Leg Press yesterday than any other I've trained on :( So if I freeze the strawberries they won't lose any of their nutrition? Freezing them's OK if it means I can store more. I chuck the Broccoli in for the anti-oxidants, vits and whatever else you get from them. It's too much of a chore to cook and eat it otherwise ![]() |

| Banned | This morning's Brunch Shake.... 250ml Semi-skimmed Milk 2x Whole Eggs 2x scoops Oats 2x scoops Whey Protein Green Tea Ice Now I've got a protein time-release going on, but I'm concerned that I still won't be able to process that all that protein in two sittings. I've split it into three 250ml servings this morning, and added water. Do you think this will be more efficient? |

And raw eggs can be a bit dodgy these days as well, or maybe it is just my squeemish veggie past, I do go off eggs big style at times. So you want anti-oxidants in the mix. Really Mr. Smooth, you are making cold soups in some cases. Hey, if it gets the veggies down your neck! Cilantro/fresh coriander, touch of a hot pepper/chili with a bit of basmati rice or thai fragrant rice would be a nice flavour sensation. Chinese do a soup base, congee (sp) that is based off of rice, and is usually part of the chicken and sweetcorn soup. As you are doing tomatoes, fresh basil, oregano, touch olive oil or sundried tomatoe paste, balsalmic vineager, brocolli would also work. This is great, a subject/lab rat/specimen. There are a few I know that don't eat veg and need too. I have trained in that gym a few times. I am in Camden a bit, and I will be there again soon picking up more of those BBing/porn star heels soon. I have no idea what you look like, however....................................... x x x T |

You might want to get the following product for juicing your veggies and fruits. Power Juicer I've been thinking about it for a fresh vegetable juice to use for sauces as well as to drink. Tat, that's a great idea about freezing bananas. I usually use frozen strawberries. I think if you keep it cold and you have good hygiene when you are blending the ingredients, the eggs won't be a problem; however, I'm not sure about the whey. How long do you wait between drinking each of the 3 servings? Would you want to add the whey in right before you drink it, maybe?

![]() | I make up a shake (just whey, oats and olive oil) in the morning that I drink later at work, sometimes not till 5pm. It's absolutely fine if I keep it in a fridge, but, especially if it's warm, something's certainly happens to it if I just leave it in my bag. I can't think how to describe how it tastes but I've tipped a couple down the sink for this reason. |
