Made these at the weekend and now I'm sitting at my desk struggling to finish one off with a cup of tea... taste better than I thought they would (whey I'm using could be better) and really do the trick.
I highly recommend these.

Re: Protein Bars Galore

I'm stuck for cash at the moment so having to put up with Holland & Barrett stuff. Tastes like dog chocolate (yeah I've eaten dog chocolate - I know I aint alone! ;) ) but once mixed with the honey, PB and oats tastes lovely.
I'm looking forward to getting some decent tasting whey once I can afford it as I'm sure that'll make these bars even more delicious. Gonna go for Dymatize... mmmmmmmmm.

On a side note, despite not being able to splash out on the regular food, with these bars in my lunchbox I've added 5kg to almost all my lifts and I can see my arms and back getting back to their old selves, so definately doing the trick. really helping to make up for the lack of shopping this month.

Re: Protein Bars Galore

Some great recipes here, cooking is going to happen over the weekend.

I bought some Maximuscle bars from GNC last week which tasted nice and had all the nutrients in them. Gets expensive though, good to have a cheaper alternative.
