Pscarb are u referring to the Promax stuff by Maximuscle? Why do you think this stuff is rubbish and what would you recommend to use in the bars. Bearing in mind i am new to training and have a fast metabolism. I also dont like nuts of any sort so how could i ake these bars with as little peanut butter as possible?

Thanks

maximuscle as a supplement company are crap they have been investigated more times than i care to remember because their supplements do not contain what they say they do, they taste like crap is another reason....i use extreme protein in my bars when i make them which is not very often...

Me too im allergic to nuts so as said above, use sugar free choc bars. (quants?) Gonna pack em with loads a coconut, oats n choc whey along with the honey. Wud it not be best to chill rather than bake? Im sure the choc and honey wud keep it together once chilled

Hang on. what about Strawberry whey, mixed dried berries n oats n seeds. Cud use white choc sugar free bars if such a thing exists lol . The fat kid inside is getting carried away now lol

U learn something new everyday! I did wonder why their stuff tasted so crap and when i tried a shake from a friend who uses another brand it was so much nicer. I didnt know about Nestle owning them either!

Am i better to just have a shake then than make the bars would you say? At the moment i am trying to make up for the lack of protein at breakfast cos i dont like a lot of milk, after training and before bed.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Protein Bars Galore

use a blended protein like Extreme Protein from Extreme Nutrition as a board member you get 25% off plus at the moment they are giving away a free 908g tub when you buy a 2.5kg tub...
mix this with water i make all my shakes with water, both the strawberry and choc are nice
