CHOC Protein BARs Ingredients 200 g Oats 30 g Choc whey 2 Tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter 3 Egg Whites 300 g of bananas 1 tablespoon honey 100 ml Skim Milk 1 tsp cinnamon 100 g Oats/Barley/Spelt/Buckwheat-washed 25 g Psyllium Husks 20 g Lecithin 50-75 g choc whey 3 egg whites (brownie like) or 5 egg white (cake like) 1/4 cup Splenda or to taste 50 ml soya milk or water 100-150 g banana 1 tsp cinnamon 10-20 g cocoa if you really need the choc fix Directions Preheat oven for 5 min at 180 C Mix oats, whey and cinnamon Add peanut butter and stir well Add egg whites, mashed banana and honey, stir well adding 100 ml of skimmed milk Put mixture into a greased cake pan (1 cal spray fat) Cook for about 15 minutes Cut into 8 bars Calories: 147 kcals Protein: 9.5 g Carbs: 21.3 g Fat: 3.4 g I have worked out the other cals etc for the other recipe, just can't find it right now x x x T Last edited by Tatyana; 28-04-2006 at 09:34 AM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | nice recipe T... for those on a low carb phase try this.. it is nothing special but is very nice and a little diffrent... what you need: 2 scoops Protein poder 200ml water 4 small to medium strawberries Light squirty cream mix the 2 scoops of protein powder i use Extreme Protein (of course) to the Water using a hand blender until nice and stiff Cut up the strawberries and fold them into the pudding squirt on cream quantity depending on taste.... you can use other fruit but strawberries are very low in Carbs and the GI is low in the carbs they do have.....enjoy..

OR sometimes if I am being naughty and going out dancing, OOOOOOOH with diet COKE, someone hold me BACK! Oh I have an apple crisp one too! Again with the oats thing, but as I am a big fan of carb cycling and carb tapering, it is my deserts in the morning most of the time. x x x T |
