Good Weight Gainer?

Does anyone have a good weight gainer to reccommend? Obviously with lots of good calories, & quality protein.

I was looking around the lines of : Met-Rx Size Up, BSN True-Mass, PHD Pharma-Gain. etc.

Any help & advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers...

Re: Good Weight Gainer?

You coul buy some oats and add that to some whey. All the other chaps suggestions are good. Id favour one with oats as the carb source

Re: Good Weight Gainer?

Same as andy111a but I add 1 frozen banana and 1 large apple but miss out the PB.I find MP fine oats are best It's a lot cheaper than buying a brand and tastes better I use banana whey impact. If you make your own your getting about 600cals a drink not from added sugar.

Re: Good Weight Gainer?

Thanks for the info on how to make your own, obviously it will be much cheaper than buying a product.

When would be the best time in the day to take a weight gainer?

Cheers...

Re: Good Weight Gainer?

like the above posters have said make your own there cheaper and you know whats in it, most of the one's you buy are loaded with sugar so you do gain weight but not the correct kind.........

2 scoops of whey

1 cup oats

1 tbs olive oil or pb in the blender and your done and it saves $$$$$$

Re: Good Weight Gainer?

without going into bulk supplier products id probably recommend any of the following;

Boditronics Mass Attack
UltraLife Lean Gain
Reflex Instant Mass

any of these would be ideal. They contain Low-GI carbs aswell as a mixture of Undenatured proteins and great amino profiles.
