Í bought some body fortress protein for 11.99 at the weekend 17.5 g per scoop and low in carbs I was just wondering if its a good buy? Its meant to taste like chocolate but to be frank it has no taste what so ever... What are your favourite wheys to buy?

I used to buy twin lab in sweden which was 25 gram per scoop!

That's the H&B stuff isn't it, used to give me cronic guts and serve wind. Lot better out there IMO.

first protein i ever bought was the h&b body fortress stuff since i was just getting into the stuff and wanted to try it before i went in spending loads, to be honest i thought it was rancid tasting stuff and i didnt look forward to taking my protein shakes whenever i had to, it is like a chemical strawberry and its really sandy looking in the tub isnt nice at all, ive got about 10 servings worth of the stuff still in the cupboard and im never going to use it it is now emergency supplies. and as harry said its terrible for the guts and i have read many people feel the same with it its like im burping up the rancid strawberry taste for an hour after ive taken it.

overall it gave me a bad impression of whey protein and i started thinking all whey protein tasted that bad until i just got my banana met-rx supreme whey through the door today which tastes quality just like banana nesquik now i look forward to downing my protein shake. braaaaaaaap < sorry had to do that for effect to show how happy i am about it

I personally feel that the Body Fortress stuff gets a bad press. As I understand it, there aren't a lot of places that produce whey so most companys source from the same places. I bet Body Fortress is the same.

I've used it off and on for a while and it seems to work pretty good for me. I even like the taste.
Nowadays I buy bulk unflavoured whey. 8kg at a time. It works out a lot cheaper then the H&B stuff.
