Whey Protein, watery?

I just started using Whey protein from myprotein. I added 1 cup 50g to 400mil of water and it is like chocolate water. Is it suppose to be thin like water?

I was using USM bulking shake and they taste like milkshake :beer1:

Re: Whey Protein, watery?

Hi,

Whey protein is natually not thick. I guess the USN product has a thickener like Xanthan Gum added? If you do want a thicker shake we do sell xanthan gum.

Yes less liquid also equals a thicker shake...

phys sam will become famous soon enough
Re: Whey Protein, watery?

Just got some impact whey protein WPC80 - flavoured. I know what you mean about watery and also the flavour is really really weak compared to my last protein shake.

I'm telling myself it's got less colouring, less flavouring and less thickeners which can only be better for you...right??

Is there really any difference between the stuff i ordered and Whey Protein Isolate (NZ) - CFM. Would anyone notice different outcomes when doing 3 months on one or the other?
