nausea

im not lactose intolerant and drink plenty of milk through-out the day,

but how come whenever i have a shake with milk i get bloated, nausea, sluggish, you name it

have it with water and im fine

am i alone on this?:crazy:

i used to feel lk that after drinking a shake with milk after training ,
but i didnt used to drink alot of water , now ive upped my water i feel fine

Whey with water is the best way to take it aswell
but i prefer milk lol

imk the same, i used to get very lathargic, not sure why this happened but i was using an inferior whey product(h&B) so put it down to the sugar

Its actually better if you have it with an energy source.... Otherwise they whey will be converted to glucose for energy... But thats a trade secret so don't tell anyone...

I dont ever remember taking whey on its own without carbs (energy) after a workout carbs are 50% more than whey for me which is when i take it

im guessing you need a tasteless whey when adding it to an energy drink though?

i mean im not adding my choc whey to any energy drink, ill just heave it back up to fair

You want fast acting carbs after a workout.. another words sugar! (high GI) Add 50g of Maltodextrin to your whey shake as its not as sweet as table sugar.. and then grab a banana or some fruit as well and have that after to quickly refuel the muscle glycogen thats been burnt up with heavy work.

Have a load of oats with it for breakfast tho instead if this is another time you take it and you want to bulk up
