Quantities of whey

on the bag of my whey it says you should take 1g of protein per lbs of body weight,

that to me means i have to take 150g odd of protein a day which is roughly what im hitting

however is this the amount of protein you should have for maintenance or for building?

im always unsure of how much i should have in one serving

a mate of mine doubles his scoop so its about 45/50g

then again he does weigh about 17 stone

Re: Quantities of whey

really it should be 1 and half gram of protein per lb of body weight. So if your 150lbs you should really be looking at around 200grams of protein aday or so.

Well if your only at about 150g atm if you up it to 200+ it will help you bulk up more. As you get bigger and weigh more increase your protein accordingly.
