| Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 I was on the maximuscle protien for 6 months and have just switched to the BSN which is a blend of 6 different protien strands etc...
NOW i love the taste of all the options. Good lord its nice. BUT thats not the rael issue. Anyone else been on this and had good results and thought it was a well developed protien shake?
Pros? Cons? |

cons - still not sure i trust the company as they've got quite a few law suits against them

| Re: Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 have they really? oh i dont know to much about that as new to researching what im doing! ha.
But is that because they push the boundries with what they put in stuff to get good results or just because they doing things wrong? Guess thats important to know.

Pros? Cons? | I personally prefer BSN, tried so many brands in past and i stick to few good ones which i get results from and one of them is syntha 6, it's excellent product when gaining, but when dieting you have to watch out for calories as per 2 scoops you get roughly 400cal, it's very tasty though :beer1: plus you can get good deal on them most of the time. Maximuscle is good, but very pricey, that why i don't buy it. My girlfriend used to like promax diet, but as i say, it's too expensive and we wanna try MP stuff, sounds good so we'll see |

| Re: Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 I am LOVING my Syntha 6.. BUT you really dont get much in each pot. I used 2 in a mater of weeks and i was only taking in when i woke up and went to sleep each day to give that extra protien kick i needed.

| Re: Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 There are much cheaper isolate protein versions to rival Maximuscle's Promax Extreme..Take a look at Reflex's Micro Whey, better value and tastes grand!
BTW I could drink Syntha all day! |

| Re: Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 yeah I like the BSN too, but like you say, 30 scoops in one tub leads to a bit of expense, but I suppose you pay for what you get.....IMO Promax is sh1te, wouldn't even consider buying it, tastes like sh1te, Syntha 6 tastes awesome.

| Re: Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 Sorry to revive this thread but i am now using BSN Syntha 6 and it is the best tasting shake i have ever tasted.
As said you don't get much in a tub (1320g), but i've been ordering from "J M Nutrition" on ebay and if you get 3 at a time its only £24 a tub (incl. delivery) and basically the more you buy at a time the cheaper the unit price becomes (i think 10 at a time is £20 each).
I think it's worth every penny. So far i've tried optimum, USN, PHD, cheap holland & barrat crap and this is buy far the best. It actually tastes like a milkshake (even with water), it's my favourite meal of the day.
The worst bit is that i can't use it as a post workout shake because of the slow digesting proteins, so i use Phd synergy (i've had better) for that!

| Re: Maximuscle Promax extreme or BNS Syntha-6 i found promax extreme gives me bad stomach pains it also contains a small amount of creatine but i will never use it again, you may as well go full hog and have cyclone works out cheaper in the end ,promax natural is better but to be honest in mpo it is to overpriced compared to most, reflex is very reliable i found good for helping lose body fat but i have to admit at the min sci-mix is doing wonders for me aj |
