![]() | Protein intake Hi, New user here. I joined my gym about 7 or 8 months ago and I am now training 3 times a week. I still have some fat to lose but I am getting there. I have increased the weight programme since I started and I am now trying to work to a good nutrition programme. I have just ordered Pro-Recover for post-workout but I would like to try and take in as much protein through solid foods pre-workout. I try to eat egg whites and fish pre-workout but when is the best time to eat, or does the timing not matter? Should I be trying to eat all my eggs 1 or 2 hours before my workout? |

You can eat eggs 1 hour before workout if you want - no harm in doing that.

![]() | Re: Protein intake Hey, Pro recover is ok but if you look at nutritional info it is mainly carbs (sugary ones at that!) great for someone who isnt trying to shed fat.... You'd be better off with just a protein supp/food straight after your workout then a good balanced meal with complex carbs about an hour after that. try and get your carbs during the early stages of the day so that you can fuel your workouts and days activity - eat less on non training days.
