Re: Powder Vs Ready made!!!

The bottle was probably milk protein and laced with muchos sugar compared with a whey protien powder which will have zero (or very little sugar) and a higher BV protein.
If you want to stay lean the protein powder would be the choice if your looking to bulk up and dont care about BF, whatever is convenient would do

14lb of muscle or fat?

At 18% BF i would be concentrating on nailing your diet as adding more lard will do you no favours.

myprotein.co.uk will become famous soon enough
Re: Powder Vs Ready made!!!

RTD's are handy, but they are in no way "better" in performance. They are also very expensive if you compare with powder.

Why not add a serving of protein to an empty water bottle and just add water at the gym - volia! A much cheaper option with equal if not improved performance (improved as RTDs add stabilisers to keep the protein stable in liquid powders do not).

Thanks

Re: Powder Vs Ready made!!!

i dont think you can really beat good old whey protein powder for convenieance and results for the avergae gym goer. All the ready made stuff and super protein provide very little in the way of extra results for the average chap

Re: Powder Vs Ready made!!!

also - the bottled stuff maybe full of fillers and chemicals to preserve and stabalise the protein.

Good old powder is by far the easiest, cheapest and practical way mate.
